Is there a performance difference between analog and digital envelopes? I know why analog oscillators and filters may be preferable in many situations, but I'm not sure why it would matter in an envelope generator.
thanks for great video. actually i have musical samples that has been used in FFT analysis using Matlab. i don't know how to develop ASDR. At first i convert it into iFFT to get in time domain but it doesn't work. is there any coding or suggestion ? thanks sir.
I have question about your envelope code. I succesfully ported in to Arduino environment, and I'm constructing with it monosynth (see my last video). Can I use your code commercially, if there will be such possibility? If not, I'll just write my own ADSR code, but much simpler and linear.
You are welcome to use the code-I'm glad you find have a use for it! If you have a place where it's convenient and makes sense, it would be nice if you tell people where to to look for more details (the website series), but nothing required.
Thank you very very much for permission!! Your agreement was actually last thing needed to open way to assembly my device for sell. Actually your ADSR runs perfectly on 16 MHz ATMEGA 328, I already declared two objects for filter and amplifier. And it runs smoothly, only taking up a little processor time, which allowed me to run S&H cells refreshing in 9 kHz rate. I just had to set up timer interrupt every 1 ms for refreshing envelopes. In the same way I'll write code for LFO - object with refresh method, and inside code which will generate waveforms with simple math. Maybe we can together write simple guide for your page how to use it on Arduino? It's much more efficient in my opinion than using Mozzi library.
