I don’t own the rights to the music. Changing the intake on my friends supercharges LX Sport. Owner of Vic does burnouts and bagels at the end. Instagram: @heathen_vic Song: Stones - I Am
I just picked up my first 06 police interceptor for $380 at the local auction. They were ready to scrap it cuz the cats were blocked and the valve cover gaskets leak. So far I have $160 into the car and it’s a blast to drive!!
I bought a used 2005 Ford LX Sport model with 165000mi. 4th owner. I like it 👍 but it has a few flaws. Rear pass window screwed up, problems with the Ford factory security system/driver door. A few 💡 fuses out. 🤔 AC-heater screwed up 🌡. The V8 4.6L engine runs strong. I had a new Ford serpintine belt added. Die Hard car battery, new brake fluid, new Goodyear tires(2021).
The Ford line 🚗 ended in 2011. I own a used 2005 LX Sport sedan, 176500mi. It's powerful but the LX model has a few issues. 🤔 I added new Goodyear tires, Die Hard car battery, new serpintine engine belt, flush coolant/brake fluids, replaced rear window assembly. 💲💲💲. I have a Ford sunroof too. The Crown Vic LX P74 gets about 2 + compliments a mo. Many people confuse it with the regular 🚓 style P71.
Just picked up a 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis from Kentucky car is mint. Thinking about putting a Kennybell supercharger on it. Love the way yours sounds. Nice work well done.
Chris @ ADTR is a goof friend of mine. Glad to see other people give him props. Curious what wheels those are? Are they spec'd for the car, or are the Mustang wheels? Are you running spacers. I have a 05' Town Car, looking for a similar wheel.
Love to see the look on the face of a cumarrow driver who thinks he's fast when you're quietly running right next to him...😆😁😆...or gap him on the big end 🤣😆
Very cool Panther brother. How much power is this 4.6L SOHC 2V V8 Crownvic making with Procharger along with Longtube headers and full Catback exhaust.
CV of this era are easy to find in good running shape for less than half the price of that supercharger setup. What you do with this information is up to you.
So what exhaust did you have on you vic before the coyote swap? What other mods do you guys run, cam size, stall, shit like that? Wondering what actually works before i waste money... So I'm thinking about pickin up a marquis to mess with and throw all my 02 GT N/A bolt on stuff onto it, pi heads, headers, intake manifold, tb, some gears maybe a stall converter, (eventually a cheap 3650) and the NX wet kit I still got with a 120 shot. And thanks for gettin back to me on the other questions I asked earlier.
Hey David, I am a car noob. I have a 2000 Crown Vic (Base Model), with 31k miles. Really want to supercharge it. Any idea where to start? I want to do it the right way and reinforce the vehicle to handle the power.
LOL TRUE. I am willing to put $10k-$15k into the car. I dont want to make upgrades in the wrong order. I feel like it might be better to work with the fresh 4.6L engine vs replacing it with a $10k coyote. @@davidpelton_heathenvic
