Adult coloring - my finished pages for June 2022 

I know that exact feeling Vee. I feel so unmotivated some days… but then I look at all the lovely books and beautiful art materials I have and it makes me feel ungrateful to not use them when I have the chance to. Then I pick up my pencils and I just feel lost. Like I start coloring and just grabbing colors and my picture that I didn’t even want to color ends up looking crazy cuz I didn’t even try to make a color palette. Then I don’t wanna do the picture or something the book because it has a not so great page. I eventually get over that feeling but I do have that first initial feeling a lot. I started using alcohol markers a lot. It enables me to feel like I’m using a completely different medium and it doesn’t take me weeks to finish a picture. I can do a small Hannah Lynn one in a night or 2. Sometimes, to help the block, I will take a break for a few days and then pick up some plain watercolor paper and some watercolor paints and just play with colors and textures and techniques, not making anything in particular. I’ll then take an ink pen and try to ink draw some shapes from the blobs of paint. It’s fun and engaging and gets my creative juices going more than coloring. Plus it’s no pressure so if you end up not liking it or not feeling motivated it isn’t like I ruined a page in a super nice hard to get book

Even if you only did 3 they are always beautiful. I hear you on feeling yourself stuck/in a slump. May and June I was just like hmmm not sure what to color. Oooooh never thought of using foil on pages! What a nifty idea. Your Mandaleen background I really liked! I'm loving your Hannah Lynn one.

Lovely pages yes breakdowns are hard but they are needed there's always light at the end of each dark tunnel

Try to color and just have fun..don’t worry about NEW ideas…Coloring is suppose to relieve stress😁I just got done watching a fine artist video and now my pages look like , you know what! I think I tend to compare my work with others and that hurts my creativity. Seriously, you did a great job..I love your pink 🐉 dragons! Keep up the great work🤩

So gorgeous! I love you Luna and cute and creepy page. I always use the distress ink but rarely use the oxide. That blue and pink combo has in spired me though. It’s stunning x

Veeeeeee those pages are stunning 🤩 the beetles in witches cottage, that whole page is incredible! I’m sorry you’re feeling blocked , don’t be so hard on yourself , it’s perfectly normal . I’ve been packing the whole of June and just moved and I’ve been working on a double spread in Hannah’s forest kingdom……. My goodness it’s taken the whole month 🙈 I’m so nearly finished but it feels like I’ve been colouring it forever ! And I don’t want to rush it or mess it up , sometimes we just can’t perform miracles! As always amazing video , your accent is so calming and your work and magical colour combinations, just wow 🤩. Love your little Grim reaper, so cute, and the background looks amazing. i need to get some oxides. Try to relax about your colouring, you can't be creative all the time, and you can't force it, it will come back when it's time. Just enjoy what feels right ❤️

This month you outdid yourself (as always🥰)! One page more perfect than the other! And Don't worry about the amount of coloring. We are all stressed or worried about something after the pandemic time... just now I am returning to my "normal" life😉😊

How beautiful your backgrounds. Can you make a tutorial to explain alla of them? Watching back in your tube I see one background among the FINISHED PAGES... if you put a more detailed description we can find better

Hey vee! Lovely pages, I especially love the little grim reaper. I still need to experiment more with my distress oxides. And as far as coloring less, all things in life ebb and flow yes? But then you mentioned you'd been gaming and I totally understand that!!! I've been coloring less, bc I got several new games off the Steam summer sale 😄 what have you been playing? I get really into city builders and the sims when my anxiety is really high, but I've also been trying to pay Elden Ring and I am really terrible at it. I need to start the witcher 3 as well
