Hi dear I wanted to thank you for your beautiful tutorial. I am a beginner and I was able to make the cowl for my 11 years old daughter . You are patient and I could see which chain you are working on. The counting did help a lot too . Thank you again 🙏🏻
Started another one this morning but making it 2 braids vice 3. I started with a ch of 20, then bpdc in the 3rd ch from the end & did a total of 6 bpdc throughout the entire tutorial. I only did 7 bpdc in the middle between the loops.
Great job!!! I love this stitch design!!! When I saw this I thought I might not get the concept but you’ve made this sooo easy to follow. Thanks soooo much!!! I’ll be watching for more wonderful creations from you!!!
Hi this is gorgeous I only just. Found it don't know how. I missed such a great pattern, thanks so much you are a. Great teacher love your channel, 🙂🙂🙂🙂
@@CrochetNutsTutorials I like it better too with the half doubles. It does seem to lay flatter like you said in video. Are you Australian by chance? I love your accent so much it's very soothing!!!
I'm in the middle of just starting to make this. I came back to go onto the next round and it's gone 😨 is there much difference from the last video to this one?
The stitched at the start and between braids is one les on each and the stitches jn the chain loop are now half doubles instead of doubles. Hope this helps :)
I'm coming out with 7 stitches at the end of the first row😕😕😕. I chained 30. DC in 3rd chain from hook, the chain 3 + the DC = 2 DC. Did 4 more DC for a total of 6 DC. Make a loop. DC in next 8 stitches. Make a loop. DC in next 8 stitches. Make a loop. I have 7 stitches left😕😕😕
I do apologise I had count the 6 dc at each side forgetting one is made from the chain, thank you for bringing to my attention and apologies for the confusion
Work 2 or more rows with no loops at the beginning and 2 or more rows after the final loop . Once braided it will have a straight edge at the top and bottom :)
Yes you can use any yarn, just make sjre to use the correct size hook as stated on the ball band, this one was made with UK Double knit which is 8 ply, I think the US version is called light worsted. Hope that helps, happy crochetting :)
I'm presently using Red Heart Super Saver yarn & using a G/4.25 hook & it's perfect. I strongly suggest though NOT TO use bulky yarn otherwise it will be too thick...………..I've used Mandala yarn which is a #3 weight & it turned out fine as well
@@CrochetNutsTutorials Thank you so much. Very helpful. When I saw it yesterday on list it stated subtitles but when I watched it it said chain 29 not 20 twice in the first 0.20 of the video then no more subtitles for rest of video that's why I asked. So thank you on behalf of other deaf crocheters
I am in the UK and only make tutorials with English as the spoken language, maybe you can follow the tutorial with the sound off as the scarf is very easy to make, or use the subtitles and translate using google :)
