Man this is the best to drink an smoke to, fighting depression of the time slipping away an I’m desperately trying to grasp onto what once was yet it’s already slipped away, I’m grasping at darkness, I know this yet still continue
Fighting the same fight, friend. Things do not stay this bad. I can tell you what everyone tells you. Stopping drinking is going to magnify your efforts. Possibly very quickly, depending on how bad you're hooked. I just got done spending 15 months in a near catatonic depression. Not suicidal, but I did want to not be alive at some times. I'd start daily exercise. Walking. Any distance. Any amount of time. You can get cartoonishly short distances, but I found that once I chose a destination, sometimes I choose to go further. Sometimes I skipped a few days. No wagon to "fall off" of, so I don't punish myself for missing. No pressure like that. Started 2 weeks ago, and today I went out socializing for the first time in a decade. Causal relationship? I do not know, but I bet it's worth the risk. Seems popular with happy people. I'm going to work on establishing a sleep schedule. I don't know if depression causes irregular sleep patterns or if irregular sleep patterns cause depression, But the two are ABSOLUTELY in cahoots. Good luck and God (Jesus, Nature, the Universe) Whatever your word for it, Loves you. (me too but shhhh)
Got to keep it moving, keep your head up and stay strong. Like those guys from sealab. But all seriousness we all go through, I hope for the best for you. 💪🏾
still loving these mix-tapes you keep putting out. i'm pale skinned and from an urban zone in the US, with a good slice of Mediterranean heritage mixed in. the episode of Moral Oral at the end of this vid does a better job of presenting the issues of race in the West in recent times than many serious documentary and journalistic reports i've encountered. i never fully realized how hard that show actually went back when it came out, but with time to reflect and come back to it, i'm certain humor is the key to humanity overcoming its lingering nightmares of the past, enabling us to slay the beasts of potential future specters of ruination that may lie beyond the horizon of the near future. the whole thing really hit home. but yeah, keep making these. its been a blast.
commenting on the dilbert episode, both dilbert and dogbert have a point about art. while yes, the logo is important, it's still an expression. you could say that while art is the expression of one's inner most self, a logo is the expression of a whole group.
