What's cool about it is the fact it's a throwback to the broadcast sign off before the mid 80s that played the national anthem, showed the American flag waving, and an announcer saying the same thing before cutting into static white background. Then cable was invited lol
That's how I feel about everything on Adult Swim, especially the bumps. I think those of us who are able to feel this are the chosen ones, and we feel this for a reason.
I’m 14 years old now and I remember seeing this as a kid accidentally waking 5:59 AM and seeing this on tv. It always amazed me. How early in the morning you would go from the sleepy and calm adult swim to a very fast paced and energetic Cartoon Network. Memories 😭 (rip adult swim night owl September 1, 2014 - March 31, 2019)😔

This sign off bringed back memories of summer 2017 when I would hear this song when I pulled successful all-nighters. I even recorded it once on my old phone and i'm sad that they changed it to the pixel art sign off.

I recorded it during one of the times I was very invested in Adult Swim in 2017 when really I just wanted to watch Samurai Jack Season 5 episodes as they premiered... sadly I live in Europe so most of the time when I was waiting for to watch the show I fell asleep and resorted to watch it uploaded elsewhere on a later date.
This reminds me of the summers when me and my friend would stay up all night and this would come on because we watched adult swim everynight. Now we wait until 5 am, every time this comes on, we stand up and put our right hand on our hearts and salute it, we love it so much. 😂
I remember staying up all night playing on Xbox playing GTA 5 with the other tv on playing Adult Swim and Toonami on a Saturday night. Those nights hit different

Same, fourth grade me woke up at 5:50 each morning because I loved seeing this every day before school. Now I’m a junior in high school and this is nostalgic
I would watch adult swim everyday when I was 6 years old and when I hear this I look at my window and see how long I stayed up. 0:12 and it would be morning so I was shocked and was excited for a new day in the old years.
This may be one of my favorite sign offs ever plus it always makes me happy when they say good morning there is nothing better than the translations between adult swim and Cartoon Network always gets me every time just lifts my spirits

One thing I admire about adult swim .its not just its cool shows like robot chicken or team hunger force. Its how adult swim signs off. I like how the national anthem plays in the background of the bumber. It makes me want to keep watching over and over again.
I genuinely loved this as a kid, staying up till 6-7 at night to watch the new adventure time episode then watch as cn signs off and as signs on, then watching as til I fall asleep only to wake up in the morning to them signing off as I leave for school. Good shit, real good shit. Don’t forget about the weekend with toonami as well
Because cartoon Network and adult swim were made by the same people so that day the songs got accidentally played because one of the editors hit a button that overrides The current broadcast
@@BVEWXR Damn u was missin out durin fall n wintertime , i remember in 2013 when it was snowin hard in my area, i was 10 and me n my cousins would watch hellsing ultimate on toonami late at night, boondocks, n alot other shows n we'd pull all nighters durin thanksgiving and winter break, seein dis reminds me of them simpler days
For no reason I always made the effort to wake up just in time to watch this bump and then gumball before school, then later on in the day I’d watch Cartoon Network turn into [as]. Point being I just loved the transition from one into the other, just so mind blowing but this was the one for a long while
There have been times when I actually passed by this when I lived in Georgia, and it was pretty cool to see where Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang, etc are headquartered. I live in Tennessee now, and I still make occasional trips down there to visit family and/or go to Six Flags Over Georgia. And yes, I still pass by this area.
I used to watch Adult Swim until I fell asleep and this would wake me up every time. Lol I used to get up and start getting ready for work while watching Gumball. 🤣😂
