AMANDA! LMAO, ur absolutely, right, but Im sure THAT girl would have remembered Wednesday VIVIDLY. If the series had been allowed to continue, a run-in between Wednesday and Amanda would have been a great cliffhanger for season three, but say that instead of being traumatized by what happened at Camp Chippewa, it reinforced Amanda's cheerfulness, to the point where she becomes the Joker to Wednesday's Batman.
Rewatching these and I just realized that all the cuts away from Melissa are to hide when she blinks to keep up the illusion that Wednesday blinks about as often as she smiles. Excellent editing.
I still remember when she got hit with a C&D. I knew then that whoever holds the rights was going to be looking into using Wednesday as a solo act due to how popular these shorts had become.
I am impressed that this series still gets posted on youtube like it does in spite of the legal action. The sad thing is that if someone wanted to to a p*rn parody of any existing film there is a legal precedent to allow THAT,but not THIS. Her whole series was brilliantly acted,scripted,directed and produced. They should have just licensed it,grabbed the revenue,and effectively acquired the use of all her existing/future scripts. Imagine how much better the official series could have been made had they harnessed her talent instead of crushing her output.

What's great about how Melissa Hunter plays Wednesday, is that there is a little bit of Carolyn Jones' Morticia in her portrayal. She resembles her a little, too, much more than Lisa Loring did in the original series. Like mother, like daughter...

Meidoification i have, and i think she breaks character when you can tell she is enjoying a line too well. and it just ruins it, you can't smirk or smile. or even carry any sense of perk
Ricci is 39 and this adult Wednesday looks 20 not only that but she'd make Wednesday look too much like a child you need to shut up and deal with things like an adult

That was really good. Great writing and well performed. Wednesday has always been my favorite Addams character and a show with her as an adult is a great idea.
Apparently there's a legal battle behind the scenes that's in the way of more being produced. The idiots need to hire the actress and film team, they could do a modern TV show and make some serious money. The RU-vid account has provided enough exposure and promotion of an updated version of the character with mostly positive reviews.

Really shows how stupid studios are. They Addams family license owner should have kicked in $100k for a whole series of these, and given them a blessing but not made them official. Increasing the value of the brand is always a wise investment.

EXCELLENT! Kate Freund is without question one of the best actresses I've seen in a long time. Then again so is Melissa Hunter. Great actors can pull off comedy very well.
Every one of these episodes leaves me in chills. Very well done!!! (I stumbled across an episode in season 2 and watched a few of those before starting at the beginning) This is top notch! Chills every single time!!
It is a sad thing that the creator of the videos was forced to cease and desist instead of her given an offer to make an official series of this. The comedy is pure gold and the acting superb, I can see even special guest appearances from Hollywood A listers on this...such a tragedy.
