A village street rat and a Maasai warrior in Amboseli with Kilimanjaro in the background. A great depiction of Kenya and its culture differences. That wilderness depiction is spot-on, too.
@@shakurfaithKenia is next to Tanzania the flora and fauna are basically the same. Or do you think that the plants in the region stop at the border. Think before you say anything stupid.
The message I got was power earned vs power given. The weak man had a gun and was very unwise while the strong warrior only had a spear but was able to down the lion. Him leaving the spear was a message to the weak man to follow and grow in wisdom and strength, not use shortcuts to power like guns.
That's fucking stupid. A modern gun is way more powerful than a spear, it's why we use guns. The point isn't about the weapon, it's the story of scared teenage boy who lacks the knowledge to survive in the savanna because he is still a child, but is to prideful and stupid to admit he needs help.
@@_Diam_nd_ but we should all know by now that humanity's technological advancement had basically been exponential for last couple hundred years. So no, 12 years isn't a long time for what is basically better resolution and transfer speeds
Lucas Koskiniemi pretty sure u have to input passwords, get past some security measures, input coordinates, request approval, do a systems check, start launch, and keep an eye on any failures that might occur. idk, just my guess
The moral is don’t treat everyone you don’t know as different hostile. Notice how the armed man nearly killed the African, yet the African spared the other guy’s life. Always give each other a chance.
Catub’s TV idk, if im in the middle of nowhere, abandoned, had a rough past (the ak guy clearly did) and with only a dirty AK with 1 mag, inexperienced, with no food, and i came across an ominous tall man with a spear, i wouldnt trust them too.
Otto Coldbeer in case ur illiterate, i never mentioned race. u the type of troglodyte to bring up the race card into any argument. it seems ur mom failed to teach u of “stranger danger”. no stranger is to be trusted, and that applies when they have a spear, and ESPECIALLY when they can kill a lion with it. the fact that the tall guy was silent and calm is what made him ominous and scary, he was shrouded in mystery. u dont know who he is, nor do u know his intent. being afraid of the unknown is basic human instinct, but it seems u dont have it, ontop of having a missing brain. the mere fact that u brought race into this and called me a racist with no grounds to back up ur claims only made u look stupid and made u look like the racist one cuz of ur anti white comment
In a nutshell: >guy with AK gets left behind by drunk friends >finds some 'you shall not pass' NPC >gets hunted by local wildlife >gets saved by the NPC >rejects modernity and embraces tradition
😂😂😂 it's the other way around we humans evolve and get stronger while NPC stay the same just as how they were programmed, the spearman is the real human and the guy with the gun is the NPC.
I love how the lion still decided to go after the guy with the gun even after he took the other guy’s spear so instead of going after the experienced man with no weapons the lion still went after the unexperienced man with two weapons because he knew he would still be a better target.
@@homelessman3483 no.. The lion chased after the one who ran. It's literally what they would do. He also probably didn't see the other guy because of the bush and heard footsteps only.
@@areaxisthegurkha Lions also prefer to target prey that have their backs turned, so the man with the spear was a no go, given that he kept looking at the lion
I haven't seen anybody mention it but one of the people listed in the 'Thanks To' is Domee Shi. She's the director for Turning Red, it's wild to see her name attached to this animation and how far she's come in her work. 😮
Well done on so many levels! We as humans have lost what is important! Stop judging others till you know who they are and what they stand for grounded in reason and experience! Great respect for the ageless lessons shown! More educational than ever given that this is over a decade ago! Blessings to the artists and the messages! Three minutes of a lifetime of wisdom!
@@fvvcccc4307If you know how to use it when needed, sure it's extremenly deadlyjbut if you miss even most of your shots, what was the point of having it? The spear maybe an overall outclassed weapon in comparison, but weapons are tools desgined based on who is using them not just the weapon itself. Spears are still deadly as guns, just guns happen to hav e many advatages if the user is good with it.
The indiscipline of youth meets the wisdom of age. That, being said... ....Hokey religions and ancient weapons are,NO, substitute for a good blaster at your side.

Excellent. It not only talks about traditional values, but also the respect we owe to people who have a different life and a different way of seeing the world.
A man with a gun first of all tries to rob stranger leaving him unarmed in a wild life - Yep, it is a modern culture we must respect. ...I also see another old fashioned culture one doesn't interact with modern culture. Hiding. Avoiding changes.
Dunno cheif. Think that might be more of a human teen thing, but even then you get the anxious crowd pleasers. Race has no genetic behavioral relations anyway so fuck it

After many years of searching. The music, from 00:05 to 00:28, I found it is called: Baai - Emmanuel Jal. Abdel Gadir Salim. I found it in the 2006 film Blood Diamonds (the film lasts about two and a half hours, and the music is at 01:07:35, so who cares can check) at that moment a similar scene of two young rebels on a motorcycle listening to the radio appears, so is my guess that the author got the inspiration for this scene from there. Who knows, maybe the main character is Dia Vandy, whoever watched will know who I mean.
Dude you see that running animation though LMAO XD. Also what movies are you talking about cause alot of times people comment shit like this just for attention
RU-vid is training it's bots here. Thing1: ; Thing2: ; Type of comments are indicative of bots. Or impressionable kids copying bots because they care about likes for some reason. Probs both.
I noticed right away that in spite of the warrior being disarmed the lion still went after the kid with a spear. Like the lion knew that you don’t mess with the warrior spear or no spear.
@@amonkey4707applies to real life as well, real life combat statistics show that even in close quarters full auto users miss about 14 shots before actually hitting their target, of course, it's still more effective to go full auto in door to door combat because when clearing a building or ruins it's all about who shoots first and shoots consistently in order to suppress the enemies.
@@thewhitechocolateprince That logic only applies if you're in buttfuck nowhere or if you're a terrorist. More often than not, when an area is overwhelmed with an enemy force and there are no soft targets, we just call in a fucking airstrike. Even in close quarters we use semi auto. Bullets dont stop until they hit something tough enough to stop em. And a human is not always one of those things. Nor is a wall. or a chair. or a car. or anything for that matter. I'm not saying you're wrong, i'm just saying that in nearly every situation, semi-autio is the way to go. Exceptions are LMGs and pistol caliber firearms. But no one is clearing rooms with an LMG.
Moral: Wild animals have this fear thing, when the target runs they know it fears them so their easy pray, if the target doesen't move they know they aren't easy pray and think the target is stronger than them, so can be said with the Pirate Blackie.
THIS HAD A LOT OF MESSAGES & MEANINGS --- The one man represents today's new militant killer African, who can not even exist in his own land because he doesn't know the land. The other represents the ORIGINAL African who is ONE with the land, and therefore has no fear of it. The new man is wild, uncontrolled, and filled with fear of everything.... running wild chaotic, making himself a target, and tries to subjugate the original man - and can't do it. When he attacks him like a coward and runs, the original man's nature takes over - rather than revenge & hate - which is NOT our true nature, and he SAVES his enemy. He even lets him keep the spear, because not only does he need it more than the original man but it's like an invitation... (Come back home - back to your true self!) This was EXCELLENT WORK - on a level RARELY seen today!! 👊🏾😎
