Talk Title: “Pragmatic Qualitative Analysis for Implementation Science”
Presented by Shoba Ramanadhan, ScD, MPH, Associate Professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Description: Qualitative methods are critical for implementation science, as they support the examination of complex phenomena and privilege diverse sources of expertise. Implementation scientists can leverage pragmatic approaches, which allow for strategically combining and borrowing from established qualitative approaches to meet a study’s needs, typically with guidance from an existing framework and with explicit research and practice change goals. The presentation includes a work example and plenty of opportunities for the audience to share their ideas and expertise. This presentation was given on November 7th, 2023
