You sir... you are a legend my driving drastically improved i tried this on one car only and already shaved 1sec off the cars best lap on the alps thats with all assist of with manual clutch. Thank you im totally redoing all my tunes im went through your advance tuning guide simple and easy to understand

Okay, question. Why did you set your final gear at the bottom? I don't understand this. And also what happens to your formula if you then raise that final gear? Does it still work?

Hi there. If i want to use all 6 gears, what prosentage? I can't sort out 4th gear. Putting 4th between 3 and 5 makes it a bit long?

I’m not sure the math is really necessary. Using the 0-60 stat is a neat trick so you don’t have to keep restarting test drive to check a gearing adjustment on cold tires. After that if you set your chosen high gear to top out at your desired aero setting you can play with the gears in the middle, they don’t always have to be perfectly even. Often my builds will end up with a shorter than optimal 2nd gear to make it useful for hairpins and tight chicanes, particularly if the car has enough grip to make 1st gear awkward in those situations.

I don't remember how long it took me . I was a teenager with forza 1 and 2, an I just wanted to tune my own cars. Forza really has not changed much since 2 so it still holds strong today.

Ok im lost how did you set the seco d gear i got the math part down but on the chart where you go to set the second gear where did you put the 587 or how did you know setting it at 2.8 would get you at the 587

It was a guess. You have to approximate the number with trial and error. Set it to a number, then check your telemetrics and do that over and over until you get to the 587 or whatever your pre gear torque is.

Hey I was trying to follow your guide with the maserati ghibli 97 and I have a max torque of 450. But when I hit the rev limiter it doesnt show the type of numbers you're getting, instead I'm getting numbers like aeound 20

Have you noticed since the last update or two, when hitting the rev limiter it tachs out the same in all cars?

I have notice that it revs out between 50 - 120 and I have to catch the rpm before it hits the rev limiter to tune my gears.

Can u do one with high powered cars cause i have a rx7 with high horse power

Depending on how much power tuning the gears with TCS to barely kick in at low to higher gears works well, you may have to play with the ratios. High powered cars at some point will have no traction no matter the setup.

Gears too close for my taste. I like a 4 gear transmission: less time shifting is more time accelerating or decelerating.

It does, there's just no input for it on the default controls, check the options.

I do not think this is how it is supposed to be done in FH4. If i use this method my F12 Berlinetta goes 330 in 2nd gear and also first gear seems very slow. The method where you use the powerband and go for about 90% of your max power in kW seems much more precise to me.
