@@george849 hello ! I have a friend who was an Argentine T38 exchange IP for two years at Columbus AFB. Since we love the T38 Talon, we had many conversations about his experience during the assignment. He gave me his T38 flight manual, which I devoured in a week. I am currently interested in the Montgomery T38 accident in which a Japanese Student Pilot and a young FAIP were killed. For some reason the IP didn't realize that the SP had retarded both throttles to idle for 18". I hope to finish my model kit and presentation on Flight Safety to benefit the cadets of the Air Force Academy in Córdoba Argentina.
@@JustwingitRC It has been many years since I have flown an r/c plane, and never flown an r/c jet., but you rekindled something inside of me and would like to have a go at it again. Though I am no where near your level of expertise, and I am sure that the beautiful T-38, is simply not for beginners, Will this jet be offered as a kit?
I lived on Williams AFB in AZ back in the 70s. My dad was an avionics instructor for the T-37 and T-38. Our house was literally 100yds from the flight line, and it was LOUD!
I was stationed at an Airforce training base with the T-38. I was always amazed they could fly at all with such a small wing. Even in person the wing is very thin.
@@drmrjon Dude, I have 6 titanium screws holding my right shoulder together from combat related injuries and arthritis in my right wrist. Cut me little slack...
If you’ve every tried to take video like this, you’d know that this is extremely well stabilized already. Getting this level of footage while zoomed in is tough, and adding stabilizing in post usually makes things look weird.
