Hey Josh, I have a bachelors in Cybersecurity, Security+ and AWS Solutions Architect Associate but have 0 experience, Can I skip all the help desk/entry level stuff and become a Cloud engineer? I was studying for CCNA but realized I don’t need a networking cert if my goal is Cloud. Would love your input on this brother. Thanks in advance!
If you haven’t done so already, I would like to hear your opinion on getting CCNA or even CCNP to work in cloud. I keep hearing that networking knowledge is necessary for cloud jobs, but that cloud networking and on-prem work in a completed different way.
Generally speaking, yes. But if you can get an H1B to sponsor you, it might be possible. Check out this site for top H1B sponsors that I found: www.careernomics.com/candidates/masters-h1b-employers-ranking.php
CCIE is really not about career gain it’s like a gold medal, a badge of honour. People want it because it’s difficult, PHD is also difficult, but that sweet title tho. Here I am just pass CCNA and already dreaming about passing my CCIE one day😂😂😂😂
Sir I made a conclusion after a general overview and I hope it is wrong that the one who wants to learn cloud services should be an IT graduate , what is your opinion ?
that's great. Cisco exams focuss on expertise on CLI mode and they don't promote GUI due to their business strategy. cloud took away everything. isn't it foolish typing command and wasting time. firewalls even took away their router and switch business
It’s foolish to click around a damn GUI. Anyone can click around a GUI, My niece can click around a gui with a few hours training. Even cloud engineers avoid GUI. Can u docker with GUI? Should u use aws with gui? No and No!
@@YLprime how about making CLI more intuitive to execute. What if some company wants to keep it complicated only to generate training business and a market hype 🤣🤣
