I checked out the source for the airbrush...Kerekes is in my neighborhood! It's my most favorite store in the world! LOL, I'm there at least once a week, sometimes just to look. I get all my cake boards, pans etc. The store is wonderful! Thanks:)

I have just fallen in love with your work. I'm still trying to work on my piping technique for my cakes so I prefer working with fondant. But seeing your cookies have inspired me to work harder at perfecting it. Maybe I'll try my hand at cookies...:-D
Thanks for sharing your techniques...I am taking some Wilton classes and your videos helps explain more details of how the different techniques work and why ...also you gave some great time saving ideas...I have subscribe to your videos and look forward to many more great ideas...thanks again...
I've watched 3 your videos and I need to say your products're stunning. It's sad to say I can't do what I learnt from you because of my limited free time but well, at least I feel better when i watch your doings, great job :">
Thanks a lot of your sharing, Julia. I'm from China. I bought your book at Amazon.cn. I love it so much! And hope that someday I could make some pretty cookies as you do~
Hello, i was wondering if you make a video about airbrush paints, i tried to airbrush a cookie with pearl dust and vodka and didnt really work, i would really love one of your perfect explained videos. thank you
Hello! I absolutely love your videos, they have helped me a lot to start my own business :) If you were making a lot of these, how would you make them? (as in steps to follow). I don't know if it would be better to do them one by one or airbrush them all first, and then following with the other steps. Hope you can help me, and thank you for all the wonderful videos! I swear you are a genius.
I have an old makeup airbrush machine that I've never used. It was given as a gift a few years ago, but I never used it for feeling it wouldn't give me am adequate coverage. Would I be able to use that for this?
I thoroughly enjoy watching your tutorials..you show extreme care and easy to understand detailed explanation, I just received my copper cookie cutters and chef masters food coloring sets, and I look forward to trying these. Quick question... as far as storage, How far in advance can I make completely decorated cookies for events? And Is taste or texture compromised? Thanks so much for your beautiful designs ideas and teaching methods And also which type or brand of airbrush are you using, I went to the link and so far I see only the pen which is fine, but not the compressor Thanks again
Is it any chance that younmight tell us which airbrush type you use? Many thanks for being so kind to share your work. You are fantastic and your books and not the least your app too :D
Very beautiful cookies and creations I do admire all your work ,they are amazing, thanks for sharing. May I ask ,which airbrush you are using ? I mean which brand ? I am a beginner and I need a simple , easy airbrush to use , as I love this tecnique , and need your advise before purchasing .Thank you.
Beautiful cookies! How long did the cookie need to dry after you did the letter stenciling with royal icing? Also, where did you get your stencils? Thanks!
I noticed lots of bakers weren’t using tips recently in their icing bags so I cut my own icing bags and the results were so-so. But then I noticed an ad for “tipless” piping bags. Do you know if those are an entirely different type of bag than just cutting the end off of the icing bags I have already?
They could be pretty much the same thing or different. Most tipless bags are seamless, because the seam on the bag can interfere with the icing coming out of the tip. So if you cut down a seamed bag, that could be why you were having trouble. I use parchment cones that I make (instead of tipless bags) and I get great results - and then I am not throwing away a lot of nonbiodegradable plastic.
Great videos! Thanks for all the tips! Can you tell me what kind of icing you used for the black 'R'? It looks like royal icing but I think I missed your commentary on what kind it was.
***** I just ordered an airbrush machine and I hope that I'm more successful with that than I was with spreading icing over a stencil. You do such nice work!
Those cookies are beautiful! Is there any way to keep the icing from being so hard after its dried? I never have worked with royal icing but I no it's hard icing
Hi Julia, I notice in your videos that you have used different airbrushes, do you have one that you prefer over the others? I am interested in purchasing one and would love your input. Thanks!
How do you get your icing so black. I have always wanted a color sprayer. My only issue is will it dry if not in use a lot even after a good clean . Thanks Kristin
I just use enough black coloring to get the color I want; remember: the icing will dry a lot darker than it looks in the bowl. I don't understand this part of your question: "My only issue is will it dry if not in use a lot even after a good clean." Will what dry? The airbrush coloring? the airbrush? I don't understand the concern, so please try to clarify and maybe I can help.
@@krisrtinkoss136 I still don't get the question. Are you asking if the airbrush will dry after cleaning if not used a lot? If so, it's likely to be drier by the time you use it next if you don't use it a lot (vs. if you use it a lot). But the dryness of the airbrush doesn't really matter. You can clean an airbrush with alcohol and move immediately to using it with another color, without allowing any "drying time". You should never really soak an airbrush in water or alcohol anyway, because not all parts make contact with airbrush coloring (and thus don't require cleaning), and also because you don't want to introduce liquid into any internal areas that shouldn't have it and won't easily dry out. I hope I've answered your question, but, if that was not it, please try rephrasing it.
JuliaMUsher Meaning that I don’t bake cookies every week every other weekend let’s say I used it at Easter time for the airbrush and then I didn’t do cookies until mid summer graduation and then maybe Thanksgiving and Christmas if not in use that much my question was The airbrush machine drying out. This was my other question If I do one cookie pink and purple. And I wanna do the next cookie a different color with the airbrush I can clean it really good right and then at the next color. you get now
@@krisrtinkoss136 I think I answered your question already, but, yes, the airbrush machine will dry out in that time - it SHOULD and that won't affect its behavior if it was well cleaned before you put it away. And, as noted above, you can flush the airbrush coloring out of the cup with alcohol and move onto another color right away. I show all of this in my airbrush cleaning video, so you might want to check it out. Best of luck; have fun airbrushing!
Hi Julia, I absolutely LOVE this video :) Can you tell me where you purchased the floral stencil you used to airbrush this cookie? I have checked on designerstencil.com but had no luck.
I have no idea - you'd have to go to the source link under the video (look under SHOW MORE) and inquire directly with the company that makes it. But I found it many years ago; my guess is: it's unlikely it's still easy to find.
these are beautiful i have a question, can you use the stencils that walmart or michael sell that you use with acrylic paint as long as they are clean and new
Julia, where I can buy those stencils you are using for airbrushing to stencil the cookies? Zan you please contact me with a message on my wall? leGretsjen Scorp thank you in advance..
