The esthemax masks are my favorite! I don’t follow the recommended ration, I do 1.5 scoops of powder to 1 scoop water!

And if you’re planning on using a mask underneath it will add water to the jelly mask so use a little bit less water in your mixture! I like my consistency to be like a thick pancake batter.

I started out using those mask too but personally they have increased their prices way too much for my preference lol.

My charcoal mask use to do me like that I do 1.5 powder and 1 cup water and I do that for all my jelly mask now it’s like the sweet spot lol

i notice that when getting facials you all use steam right, so why do ppl suggest not to wash your face with hot water? what makes it different from the steam and hot towel? thank you!

The biggest difference between hot water and steam is the physical difference. There is only so much steam that is making contact with the skin during a treatment versus hot water (would be making direct contact with the skin and possibly happening multiple times a day for most people). Both can dehydrate and irritate the skin but steam can be better at hydrating the skin and circulating the blood. A hot towel is simply aromatic and relaxing. It also helps to remove product much easier.
