What keeps me going and strong is my unwavering faith deeply rooted and grounded to God that no matter what comes ahead, I am not alone, my cacthphrase. Thanks for this wonderful lesson, you always roll out interesting topics Ms.Lisa. Blessings!

@@AccurateEnglish I am so exciting to get answer from Ms. Lisa! Huray! I feel amazed that Australian English is different with American English, though I am not a English mother language, I feel lots of expressions I haven’t heard here. Still enjoying studying with you. I suggest Michael, one of your interviewee, moved from NY to LA , the biker, try windsurfing! Because he said a concept 10% something. Our family will visit LA at start of Dec. Do you have a office there we could visit you please?

Hi, Teacher thank you for these words that I have never heard before. Let me write a few lines and use some of these expressions you have thought to us. Please correct me if I made grammatical mistakes. 1. I am gutted. This is an expression that British people say all the time. That's a catchphrase. 2. What do you think about Ronaldo performance in this game today? Along the same line, how many goals Ronaldo scored today? 3. I am certain that I am going to thrive in this new assignment. 4. If you go to an interview at the University you have to dress the part. 5. I know my son, he is a rooted person. 6. The social landscape in my country is getting worse and worse since I left. I was in a bad emotional landscape when my wife left me. 7. Watching your lessons make me grounded. 8. It's critical that we have to respect everyone no matter their colour, religion, race or gender. 9. I faced too many storms when I was younger and my Mum didn't have anything to give us because my father left her. 10. I believe that I can do many things at once. 11. Many people saw their houses knocked down by the wind in the winter. 12. Your lessons matters to me because I have been learning so many expressions. 13. You have a good sense of yourself. 14. Although I was facing so many difficulties in my life I remain grounded. I am a grounded person.

"We didn't go teaching to get rich but to enrich others." To all teachers,Happy Teachers Day !!!!💕 Teaching is the most noble profession in the world. It serves as the pillar of our society since it institutes other professions as well. Every 5th day of October, we celebrate World Teachers’ Day-a day where the struggles and hardships of our teachers are appreciated and rewarded. Being a teacher will never be easy because teaching will never be their sole task. Even the things that aren’t listed in their job description, but because of their love and passion, they will never dare to scape. There are times when they will get tired, but after a little rest, they will continue to move on and promote the future of their students.

A treasure trove of advanced vocabulary! Lisa is a great teacher and her passion for English matters when it comes to really mastering new phrases actively, that is making them your own. If you ask me, Accurate English is unique in that its host is talented at making conversation with the right people and also Lisa does a great job of spelling out all the different shades of a phrase and situations where it's most helpful. However there's one thing missing. I get it, the job of the guest here is to help her clients use the right language to talk themselves out of hard situations. Joanne put it "Can we work together and try to change that?" Here's a catch. Before Lisa asks "How can people get in touch with you?" one thing is left, and that is the question Why. Why should I want to get in touch with Joanne? Joanne answered a few questions, but she didn't tell how exactly she helps her clients. It could be framed like a someone's specific story, one that would create motivation for someone in need to actually seek help and contact her. For example Joanne says "you must have a sense of oneself". But why? she herself acknowledges it's just a catchphrase. No one will call her to just ask "What do you mean by saying this", but people would contact if they relate to a story of someone who might have got help and know what life experience he or she filled this catchphrase with. Give us examples of people who found a sense of themselves, - in what? In doing and feeling specifically what? A psychologist differs from a philosopher in that the former has the practice and can draw on specific cases of people he or she has helped. The aspect of helping specific people (testimony) was missing in the video to me. Hope this helps. Sending everybody so much love! All the outstanding job Lisa has been doing means a lot to me, and surely to every other viewer.

Accurate English. That's a catchphrase. Joanne is absolutely right about being spiritually mature. Our life is full of challenges and obstacles. In order to overcome all those storms that we face on our life road, we need to be rooted, grounded and spiritually mature. Failure, rejection, denial are part of life. I have been on all those stages of life. The most important thing is as Joanne said have a sense of yourself. Know who you are. If you don't look the part, it is not worth taking the trouble. No trouble at all. What you lose on the swings you make up on the roundabouts.

I am grateful for everything that he gave to us.among those gifts are common sense, health, vision, strength, gender and so many other things. (You name it.) Since I had turned 15 my resolution was unshaken to worship my God. Now I am grounded can destinguish right from wrong . I also can face the different storms in life Thank you teacher I hope you don't mind of my mistakes in this comment.
