Dr Trento became my new hero in July 2011 when her performed mitral valve sx to repair, and not to replace, my infected (endocarditis) and damaged valve. The results were life changing to say the least, and now 12 years later I continue at 80 to live a productive life and celebrate with my 6 children our 11 (and ever growing in number) grandchildren. For me, Alfredo Trento replaced Andrea Bocelli as my s as my all time favorite artist and humanitarian. PJM.

I had open heart surgery and was given a new Mitro Valve. The scar on my chest is almost gone. Amazingly I had no pain after the surgary. Was walking the first day and sitting in a chair. Dear Dr. Trento, I have been diagnosed with severe regurgitation Mitral valve prolapse. In my Last study, the robotic Surgeon , Dr. Guy at Jefferson university in Phila., PA told me my heart was totally calcified , robotic surgery would be too risky and told me to go see my cardiologist.
