Hi David. Long ago I made a gas bottle log burner, with boiler built in. I had central heating in the shed! Unfortunately although it worked well, the heat exchanger needed constant cleaning out as it would clog up with soot. It wasn't very enjoyable doing that on a cold winters night.

That's the pretty much the point of my channel. I spent so many years procrastinating, I decided that if someone was watching I might actually get something done!
I used to have a log burner in the shed, and it certainly got hot, quite often too hot, as it was very easy to overshoot the comfortable range. The heat pump that I'm now using is a lot less effort (I can start it remotely, so it's all nice and warm when I get out there) and it will maintain a nice constant temperature. I'm also not smoking out the neighbours!
