Great to hear the story behind this product, Alan. Kudos to your team and company for creating what appears to be a well-made and much-needed (to our market) dc-dc charger. BTW, can you ask the bloke on the guitar to keep it down a bit? It's get's a bit much by the five minute mark...

At 26, being from the "digital generation", i would hope that you know how to use a browser and type in his website shown in the background for the entire video. There happens to be an "Contact" area with, a phone number!

hi i brought a ctek dcdc charger and it seems to not be working as should.. lights are doing random things not consistent and isnt charging my battery only seems to be trickle charging when car is not running.

Hi Hyra, We haven’t fully tested it for an IP rating so we don’t suggest mounting it under the bonnet - however if you could put it in a sealed area where it won’t be exposed to moisture or mud/dirt it would be fine coping with the heat and vibrations etc. Hope this helps, Cahn

To charge 12v automotive batteries from a DC source, such as the vehicle alternator or a solar panel. Input between 11.9V and 25V DC. There is a 20A non Solar and a 25A solar version.

@@einfelder8262 Ok, but a engine alternator is designed to charge 12vdc batteries. Forget solar, the alternator AC to 12VDC where does this product come in play?

@@AquaMarine1000 Primary purpose of a DC-DC charger is to charge auxiliary battery. Alternator is designed primarily to charge wet cell starter batteries. It will never charge an auxiliary 12v AGM or Calcium battery to full capacity. This product goes in between and can charge an auxiliary battery to 100% capacity with smart charging algorithms - something no alternator does.

Chris Bradbury the other big factor is that a lot of newer cars have “smart” alternators that will not charge an auxiliary battery correctly, they will not supply charge current if you have two batteries hooked up, they self regulate based on draw, temperature and emissions factors. New vehicle alternators are not the constant output of older generations.
