Adventurer and traveler Khurram Ally takes you on a trip to well known hiking trail # 05 in the majestic Margalla hills. Margalla hills are the continuation of great Himalayan mountain range.
CDA of Islamabad discovered & developed six hiking trails in Margalla hills.
Hiking trail # 5 is the most scenic and adventurous trail. The trail is completely covered with Green trees, plants, bushes, streams & rocks.
It is 05 km long & estimated time to cover the distance is 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on the speed, stamina & overall physical condition of the hiker.
There are Snow Leopards, wild Boars, Red Foxes, Snakes, Barking Deers & iguanas. Monkeys & wild boars are in abundance & are a common sight for everyone.
Hikers are advised to carry bag pack with water, fruits, snacks, first aid kit & a survival kit.
The trail opens at 5am & closes at 7pm but visitors are advised to return before Sunset to avoid wild animals who come out on the trail in dark.
