My time at the Elephant Sands in Botswana was another once-in-a-lifetime experience. Wild elephants visit this lodge daily to have a drink from their water hole. You can sit at the restaurant all day and just watch the elephants up close. I set up my tent for the night as close as possible to the animals so I could look at them every time I opened my eyes. They were walking around my tent at night, which was kind of scary to see them so close. It's incredible how quiet and peaceful they are.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
