Episode 6:
A bit of forward planning was involved today, heading from Te Anau through to Mavora Lakes before riding through the Von Valley to Mt Nicholas Station. There used to be a road connecting through to the top of Lake Wakatipu but this is no longer an option. Queue a boat transfer with Southern Discoveries for us plus our 2 travelling companions who joined us after a chance meeting at our motel. All the fun of loading & unloading bikes added to the adventure of the day. We did encounter a bit of rain but not enough to dampen the enjoyment of more spectacular scenery.
