Episode 12: Lumsden to Mosgiel
After an evening in Lumsden, reviews of the weather forecast showed that our fine weather days were fast running out, with rain in many areas of Southland we plotted a circuit through Mossburn, Central Southland with coffee in Winton, before taking more back roads through Waimumu into Gore for lunch. Southland has some stunning farm land & rolling hillsides & it is an easy ride. From Gore we took to the highway north & found ourselves back in Mosgiel which we passed through at the start of the trip. This was a good stopping point to make plans for the final day on the road as we sadly count down to the end of another awesome trip.
