Episode 9 - Part 2: Old Man Range
From the Obelisk we take on the track across the top of Old Man Range towards the Waikaia Bush Road. We saw first hand how the weather can change with a cloud bank blowing up in front of us across the face. There were a couple of more challenging sections along this track, including a detour which was definitely a poor decision. We also had our first ride through remnants of snow across the trail. It was a great 12km detour to take a different road back down to Shingle Creek via farmland.
