You know, as a kid, I was blind to most of the sex jokes (I understood some of them, since I started watching the show when I was about 10 or so, but only a few). But I recently started rewatching the series as an adult, and by the time I finished the first season, I was questioning how the fuck Cartoon Network allowed this show to be on the air without issue. I’m honestly surprised that some insanely conservative parent didn’t blast the show off the network early on. Edit: I also realized just how many of the girls were down bad for Finn, even at the start of the series when he was just 12. Even Tree Trunks tried seducing a 12yo Finn at some point (in the episode where she was possessed by that crystal apple. I know she technically wasn’t all there, but it was still uncomfortable hearing someone who sounds like a sweet old grandma lusting after a literal 12yo). Oddly enough, Ice King is probably the only major adult character in the show with decent morals (aside from Jake), and he was crazy for just about the entire series

I love Adventure Time but my god, a lot of these moments were very uncomfortable to watch. Especially the ones where Finn was involved considering he was a pre-teen in most of these being fawned after by characters who were most likely/definitely older than him (and this happened even back in S1 when he was like 12).
