It's sad that the reason Finn was even in Ooo is because Martin was trying to protect him, but because of his brain damage, noone will ever know. All Finn knows of his dad is him being a stupid deadbeat
Imagine just turning on the TV as a kid, casually watching your favourite show and then suddenly you see a terrifying devilish monster, trying to kill everyone named the Lich.
you know these shows stop showing those dark and serious episodes after showing it 2 times so you will never know the back story of adventure time until and unless you search it on internet there are other shows like 'star vs the forces of evil 'or 'the teen titans go'
Season 1:introduction Season 2:slow development Season 3:a bit of story ig and some backstory Season 4:focus on other characters Season 5:Finn being a simp also some development Season 6:a bit of more story Season 7:a lot of story Season 8:development for Finn again Season 9:wow that’s... Season 10:a wrap up of the whole story
Correction : The finn in the finn sword *is* Finn, just from a different timeline So fern and finn are basically just the same except for the grass demon that merged with different timeline finn
The Finn sword is not from a different timeline, he is from an earlier point in his timeline that sacrifices himself. A different timeline would be a parallel that wouldn't have affected his own.
@@OuterRaine that means the timeline had split at that moment to form 2 branches Otherwise our finn would be a sword too So it's a different timeline now😂
@@mralabbad7 nah brah same timeline. Its super complicated so lemme break it down for you. Firstly Prismo teleports Jake to some pocket dimension or some biz and has Jake sleep in his bed (turning him into sleeping Prismo) and recreating Prismo. Meanwhile Finn is still back at the treehouse, accept something is wrong. There are copies of Jake reenacting past events and when tampered with they explode. Finally Finn goes along with it until he gets back to the point where past Jake is teleported to Prismo's dimension and goes with. There he witnesses multiple hims carrying out Prismo's plan. This is where we learn that Prismo's created an infinite cycle and infinite loops are UNACCEPTABLE so eventually Finn stops his past self from waking up past Jake (or maybe future Jake?) And explodes him, turning him into the Finn sword. With Jake from the past turned into sleeping prismo and therefore creating wish granting prismo, and Finn stopping present Jake from getting in the bed they both now exist with the benefit of wishgranter prismo being back, the infinite loop being over, and the finn sword now existing (which is literally just finn)
Some things he didn't cover somehow: -Lemongrab, Bubblegum's clinically psychopathic experiment gone wrong who screams "UNACCEPTABLE" all the time. He got his own kingdom to keep him out of PB's way, but there was some business with him figuring out the secret to artificial life (yes, really), and BOOM, there's two of him! Lemongrab 1 eats lemongrab 2, they merge into lemongrab 3, and really nothing happens with them after that -The time the lich possessed Farmworld Finn and Prismo (head of the time room) sent finn and jake to deal with it. The lich was split across the multiverse and Farmworld Finn & Jake were freed, but prismo was killed. -Finn and jake tried to bring back Prismo in season 7, and it worked, but at the cost of an alternate universe version of the duo, who turned into the Finn Sword and an old man (it made sense). -One of the lich's severed shards landed on Ooo in season 9, tried to become whole, and dueled giant baby lich, who refused to give in to his darker nature. That was the lich's last major appearance. -The rainbow unicorn puppies being used for commentary on growing up. it was depressing
I love how when he says about Marceline "she's a vampire but not evil" he plays a clip of her hissing at Jake and looking like she's about to bite him.
@@OuterRaine She didn't steal vampire powers, she sucked up the powers of some powerful creatures that happened to also have become vampires, and then the last vampire sacrificed himself to bite her so she'd be the last vampire.
@@OuterRaine No. It's like saying that someone _did_ steal diamonds from a store that happened to also have money. If someone stole diamonds, you wouldn't say they stole money, you'd say they stole diamonds. Likewise, Marceline stole powers of levitation, invisibility, shapeshifting, and healing. She did not steal the vampire powers of immortality and having to eat blood/red.
Long ago, the four elements were cool, but everything changed when the Gum Nation attacked. Only the Hero of Ooo, expert of all four elements could stop them, but when Ooo needed him most he vanished. Hundreds of years later and my parents discovered the new Hero, a human named Finn and although his hero skills are great he has a lot learn before he can save anyone. But I believe Finn can save Ooo.
"fiNn sHould hAve pTsD" Finn: **vaults his scary thoughts so he doesnt remember them, freaks out over emotions, legit breaks down over family through the show** me: *yeah hes fine*
@@SuperHuCHI But he did mention that the Lich got turned into Sweet P, just not by name. And there aren't any "Implications" per se, because we literally see Lich being turned.
The ENTIRE Candy Kingdom election and Princess Bubblegum moving with Pep But, the King of Ooo entirely, the elementals getting new powers, the many returns to the Time Room
@@saifuusuri I meant what happens afterwards. He is now his own character, even if he does retain Lich powers and maybe subconscious (in Golden Stars, for example)
Yeah. That only would’ve taken like a minute more to explain, too. He also left out Hudson abadeer (marcies’ dad) and he didn’t explain why the singing opened Golb’s stomach. (Golb is weak to harmony)
Yeah, Marceline didn't become a vampire until she was a young adult when she was bitten by the Vampire King as she was hunting and staking vampires. And I wouldn't call Marceline "random" either; she was left behind on earth after the Mushroom War after her mom got sick (presumably from radiation poisoning). Simon took Marceline under his wing when he saw her crying in the middle of a ruined city crying for her dad (Hunson Abadeer). He also just skipped over Marceline for the most part, even though she was going through some character development since pretty much season 1.
the finale gave off End Game vibes tho Golb: *suddenly appears like thanos* Fern: *Mr. Stark, I dont feel so good* Betty: *literal iron man saving the world*

Beginning: Finn and Jake good, Ice King (somewhat) bad, Bubblegum crush, world simple. End: Finn almost dead, Bubblegum is gay, Ice King is no longer icy and no longer (somewhat) bad, Ice King's ex turns into evil itself and dips out of the scene and the world is nowhere near as simple as it was. The first seasons sound pretty tame on paper, but everything after that sounds like an acid trip to the power of 1000.
@@SillyBanjo I mean she kinda is, cause she stopped all the vampires from killing all the humans. Without marceline, there wouldn't have been a Finn (and a Jake ig)
I know this video is old, but I have a correction: The 400-year ice age was most likely just caused by nuclear winter. Although the mutagenic Lich-bomb was never set off, all the others were, and we just had a regular, semi-apocalyptic nuclear war. This is also why society is operating at a medieval level.
@@XxEmpty_EscapexX693 His nightmares n him dehydrating on the deserted ships n him getting freedom but at a cost which is his inner peace ..uff the chains really messed me up ..him screaming n chains tightening 😥
I think he means in that, long story style. I'm not too sure about RS because I didn't watch much of it as a kid. but I don't remember it having a giant overarching story like the other three?
@@_sushivan: You're not saying it's better, and I'm not saying it's worse. All I'm saying is that Regular Show did not shake the cartoon industry like Adventure Time did. I was a kid when Adventure Time was in its prime, I saw how much all the other children around me were obsessed with the show the show. Adventure Time matured alongside its audience; Finn grew up as we grew up, and the themes matured right alongside us; from pure wacky fun, to straight up warfare allegories alongside the wacky fun. Regular Show improved as it went along, but it always stayed a show about life after leaving college. It was still really fun and interesting for children and teenagers, sure; but the kids who watched it were never going to connect with it on the same level. I know I didn't.
@@phantomkitten73 if your not saying it’s worse then why are you saying it wasn’t influential and impactful, your basically saying it’s worse and that adventure time is better....
No, she got bit at some point, making her half demon half vampire, in the stakes series, she had Bonnibel make her human, but her demon half allowed her to absorb the vampires powers making her a half demon half vampire
@@ccherniske7282 I mean earlier in her life. In part 2 of stakes I think, you get a flashback to her around age 18 and that's when she kills all the vampires for the first time (and becomes a vampire). As a child she isn't a vampire yet, because in the episode 'Simon and Marcy' she is also shown eating soup (love the name and pfp btw)
Haven’t watched this show ever since I got into middle school, decided to watch this out of boredom and wow, this show came a long way from what I remember
The word break-down of coronavirus: Corona = Crown = Symbol of Power. Virus = Infectious Agent... Yep. The Ice King's crown infected his mind. And it affected everything as he saw it, dissolving his perception of the world and therefore his grip on sanity. He loses connection with those around him whom he loves. That's The Ice King's whole origin and character arc. So, yes.
Sis e the war happened in the year 2000 you would have too wait 20 years.and it probably would not happen because there are not allot of humans around to eat bats and get infected.
Or the Enchiridion, or Lemongrab and Lemonhope, or Fiona and Cake, or Prismo, or Farmworld Lich, or the Crystal Dimension, or the MOs, or Joshua and Margaret, or the Nightosphere...
I managed to watch all 10 seasons of adventure time throughout 2021 and loved every new season with then plot line. This video summed everything up nicely and I even teared up at the end. The way you ended the video definitely was the last thing it needed to make this an S tier video. Great work.
11:00 It's differntly pronounced because they're all different penguins. He doesn't have a favourite. But Gunter (just gunter) is the banished alien thing. The others (goonter, guntar, etc.) are normal penguins.
Foafy: You might notice some weird technology lying around like TV's and cars and... *sees nuclear bomb* Oh...OH! Edit: wow so many likes Edit #2: 300 likes, holy crap
Yo when I saw Adventure Time it was only fart jokes and fin and Jake fighting villains now you are telling me that it have 10 season , I need some time to process that XD
the reason I watched this show was not because of the characters and the lessons they learned (if any), it was because of the world The land of ooo is a world with magic and stuff and you can do as you want in that world. there is dungeons, castles, magic, swords, and everything in between. it is a world with no limits, and I think that is why this show appealed so much to me.
@PowerNO Grief he called it the big trio, ie. the big modern cartoons everyone talks about. regular show is great! but steven universe is talked about more in my experience. he didn't say that shows outside of these three don't exist, there are litterally hundreds, but these are the 3 that are going to show up most often if you ask someone about good modern cartoons (though I do have to say, I think a lot of shows are better than steven universe)
Footafaferret: *uploads* Everyone: Quick, to the comment section! (edit): Jeez guys, it's a joke. Sure, maybe someone else thought of it already, but calm down. .-.
I watched this show as a child, but it was never in the right order and I forgot most of it. Thanks for this, this showed me what it was really all about
Occasionally something comes along that is unbelievably, unapologetically, and uniquely weird as fuck that I can't help but appreciate the creativity even if the show/game/etc wasn't the best all things considered.
So, for season 7, I think is the correct one, for the reason Princess Bubblegum is being called Bonnibel, is because through an election, someone else became princess of the candy kingdom, so Bonnibel no long lives in the candy kingdom, and is now called Bonnibel because she's no longer a princess.
Hey remember the old title card for the enchiridion where finn is stabbing Jake while jake on a table with his guts all over the table but it got changed
Yeah I remember when I was 7, I turned on the tv to watch it and saw that and freaked out ( it might have been when I was 7 I don't remember exactly when)
