I love how, no matter what universe, they can't help but be flirty with each other. It's like their mutual attraction is a universal constant.

They may not be lovers in every universe but they’re definitely tied to each other in every universe

I love that kiss but there’s truly nothing more romantic than being mortal enemies spiraling to the earth and acknowledging that you’re gonna take each other out at the same time

I like how vampire king truly does care for marceline in this universe And not just using her to easily kill people

That ending with Marshall Lee and Gary made me so happy, and i literally yelled out "YES!" I love this show

Everyone talking about the kiss … why is no one talking about how just from not even 2 minutes of screen-time the Vampire King seems to be a WAY better dad than Marceline’s canon father ever was? That “Baby Girl!” just hits me hard 😭😭😭

(Squealing) I love this scene, how it ended with Gary and Marshall kissing is so romantic and perfect. It just make heart sore with joy! ❤🎉😊

I like how since they don't have to fight the kids network execs now (you know, pussyfooting around whether Peebs and Marcy are actually into each other), Marshall and Gary straight up have that "we all know they're gonna bang" energy.

I'm so happy for Marshall and Gary. I really hope things work out for them.

i just gotta say this, Marceline's outfits and design as the Star are just awesome.

Adventure Time was the first western cartoon to show two girls kissing on screen and Fionna and Cake ended up being the first to show two guys kissing. Gotta love how they made history twice.

Despite Bonnibel making an appearance in "The Star", how is it that Bonnibel is not using her Candy Magic Powers to fight the Vampires and Marceline, isn't she the Candy Elemental. Is it possible that Bonnibel unaware of her status as the Candy Elemental and is clueless she had candy powers. Plus, it's refreshing to see that at least Gumlee are finally canon in another timeline.

The Vampire King is the second being we've seen to put on the crown and not be effected by the madness it has. The first was Gunter (Orgalorg). He's worn in multiple times before wishing to become the Ice Thing and was able to use the ice powers without going insane. I guess anything powerful enough is able to use the crowns power without going absolutely crazy.

Wait. Did everyone forget Marceline literally has super healing powers? And pb doesn't even have a skeleton. She's not going to break her whole body from that fall theoretically if there's no bones in her body to break. Does PB even have a soul if all Marceline could suck out was one of her eyeballs. That implies she really tried to suck out a soul that wasn't there.

I am obsessed with this episode and the way it flashed back and forth from them fighting to the death in one universe and having a sweet moment in the other.. they both fall to their deaths while trying to kill each-other while Marshall and Gary leave the party and kiss for the first time. so good. Part of me wishes I could see their universe be expanded on/see them somehow twist from enemies to lovers but there’s also something really satisfying about the way this episode ended

OH MY STARS THE GAYS FINALLY KISSED

The fact it just ends on the kiss, so we have no clue what exactly happened with the Star and Bonnie. For all we know they *did* both die, or somehow(I doubt) they survived instead

Ngl I love Vampire King in this episode He seemed like a genuine dad to Marceline. Yes he turned her into a monster but also does seem to love her That ‘Babygirl!’ With lion’s roar was so sweet and epic, flying down to try and save her
