It was Adventureland Day last week. A day to celebrate...Adventureland! Tons of guests dressed for adventure. A sing along in the Tiki Room. Jungle Cruise. Lunch at the Bengal BBQ. Amazing group photo at the Main Street station for the Disneyland Railroad. One of the most fun days I've had at Disneyland in quite some time.

Thank you so much for joining in!!! It was an honor to have you there!!!! I started this event in 2018 after some friends had another dress up day called Adveturers Day but they had stopped doing it by the time I could attend... so in my first month of going full time artist after leaving my day job cleaning pools, I started Adventureland Day with a group of friends! Honestly, I wanted to just dress up and didn't want to be the only one! 😁🙈 But after the first one in 2018, I saw the true magic was seeing everyone dress up and play make believe in the happiest place on earth!

We were there that day and asked someone why so many were dressed up, they replied "Adventureland Day" (with a tone of, 'how do you not know this?' but not rude). I loved it! It was so much fun to see so many people just enjoying their day having a blast.

My dad make a whole jungle cruise skipper outfit, he would have loved to go and do this. I have a real pith helmet from my grandpa, and a lot of adventure gear, but I think I'd go with a gumshoe look, a slick trench coat, a pinstripe suit, and snazzy fedora.

On one of my visits, I saw a group gathered for a photo near Tomorrowland entrance. The evil queen was passing by and she totally upstaged them all! The smiles on those faces! Couldn't resist smiling also.

OH MY GOODNESS SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!!! WE WERE IN THE TIKI ROOM TOO!! I cannot believe I didn't see you! ... AHHHHHH!!!!!! I told my dad we needed to go in because it looked like a fun group and that's where I talked to this one really nice lady who told me it was Adventureland day ( I mean I knew something was going on when I saw all the people dressed) and it was a THING. I LOVED everyone's vibe and singing in the tiki room!!! BEST DAY EVER! I was going to go on the jungle curse next but we just left after that since it was still drizzling. SO MUCH FUN! SO GLAD you filmed this!! :D

All the rain has made the Adventureland greenery spectacular! Love the cheesy jokes but it would be cool to ride the jungle cruise at night in silence with just the sounds of the jungle/animals/boat.

Adventureland Day started at WDW unofficially after the closing of The Adventurers Club at the then Downtown Disney now Disney Springs. The Adventurers Theme, oath and the greeting Kungaloosh all comes from there. This predates the S.E.A. This page has a lot of entertainment for The Adventurers Club. youtube.com/@SteveCluck

I did the last TikiLandDay (same group organizers) which was a lot of fun especially the treasure hunt via text message clues. Unfortunately these events are typically on Sundays so I have to come after church and miss the morning activities.

FreshBaked. David, What a day of Adventure for all of us. When you come back to do it again next year you will need to bring Jane ( Liz) with you. It's not everyday that you are made a Sir. Sir David has a nice ring to it. The Jungle Cruise Skipper was very good. I know "Dapper Day" is another big day on the calender. But I wonder how many other special group day's throughout the year are there at Disneyland? Unfortunatly I don't think we will get a "People Mover Day." Cheers, Chris Perry.
