Iam sorted now thanks its better system than John's at end of the day it's the sim that does the most work I still need a EE unlimited sim as better coverage iam on three but EE is 3x as much a month still
try contacting Gadget John about your internet mate 👍 he seems to know his stuff, I’ve just contacted him for the same thing 😁 glad you enjoyed Sandsend (I was one of the people who recommend it, I sepet a few days on the front in my micro-camper👍)
You found some good little spots there! That one next to that beach is a must do, even if it is next to the road, it looked quiet. £6 for 24 hrs, yeah pretty good for the views. Magnet fishing, yes we still have our magnets here. 200kg pull double sided. 😁 Might actually get round to using them again one day.
Where abouts in uk are you next week ? Iam heading to Derbyshire possibly to meet up with a few overlander trucks and will be looking for rivers to magnet fish with kids again
Hi Paul. Please don’t confuse having a good phone signal with good data connection on your phone. You can have 4 bar phone and poor 2g to no internet. You can have 1 bar phone and good 5G internet. It’s a good guide but they are separate systems on the telephone network now. The dedicated router you have, will allow a faster data transfer between all connected devices, than using your phone as a hotspot. They with a quality aerial can boost a poor signal a small amount if you are lucky. What they cannot do is magic up a data signal in a area with no signal, you need a very very very expensive satellite system for that. If you and the kids are online streaming at the same time then a hard wired in router with external aerial and unlimited dada sim will be a better and cheaper solution than the three of you using separate data plans or trying to share one mobile hotspot. Speak to Gadget John for advice, as he has upgraded his system a few times.
I already have a hard router and big external areal with unlimited data sim on the 3three network its getting the network sometimes. Iam looking into better equipment mines 5 year old technology have changed since so getting better quality. If you look at roof cab on milly I have a massive arial
@@TheOffgridNomadUK Have a look at maybe changing from 3. I had big issues with poor signal and finally managed to speak to a technical guy at 3 who admitted they were cutting back on their signal strength to introduce their 5g network. I went with EE in the end and although a bit more expensive, the signal strength is superb
@@TheOffgridNomadUK When I went with the extra sim it was £25. But I'd rather pay the extra and get good speed. I'm parked up tonight in a lay-by near work and got 5G. Speed is 430mb download and I'm on the edge of Cannock Chase, so not in a built up area
