For me it's the same. I utterly love Greece. It has everything. It has the most kindest and warmhearted people, it has 80% vast gorgeous mountains, 16.000 of the most crystal clear sea, 6000 islands, incredible climate, heavenly food that I have never tasted anywhere else on the planet, truly angels on the tongue. And it's history and culture is unparalleled. It has truly everything and more that a person could wish for.
Hi and thanks for the video. Very interesting. Do you remember by any chance where the steps are located that lead you up to Chorio. The route that is steep and has about 500 steps. I know that you had a guide and probably took a vehicle up there but any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
thegreekbourne73 I am going to Symi in May and would like to do the walk from the harbour up to Chorio. Could you please tell me the name of the restaurant where the path begins. Were you able to find any other helpful information about the walk like are there signs or directions along the way? Thanks
Thanks for this my family is from Symi though I have never visited. I reposted your video on steemit -> steemit.com/travel/@twirlspin/where-my-grandparents-grew-up-island-of-symi-in-greece If you want me to adjust any of the credits to you, let me know, I would be happy to do so in anyway you want.
@@theronin365 Lol. Who is Sponge George? I thought sponges in the ocean aren't real until I saw the sponges in Symi. I'm sure, Spongebob was born here. 😃😃😃😃
@@RezellRezell SpongeGeorge was the Greek Grandad of BOB, it's a slightly common name in Greece, lol Spongebob was born in America...but like most good things in USA his roots are from europe, his Grandfather was from Symi, haha
@@RezellRezell I'm just playing, Spongebob is 100% American made up by a scientist to teach about Sponge life originally if I'm right. As for being from SYMI...I'm not but I have relatives from there, which is cool.
