That has been my question. I wanted to know if was Charlotte Mason-ish. That's the approach we do and love! I bought the Outdoor Secrets for science next year, but idk if it will last the whole year next year. So, I'm shopping around for a Charlotte Mason ish science

Oh good! I’m glad this was helpful for you! Yes, hands on with a Charlotte Mason flare. It is definitely open and go. The experiments require materials around your house and if not, you just make sure to put an item or two on your shopping list the week before!
Adventures in Creation is for K5. God's Design starts at grade 3 I believe. There's also God's Design for Beginners, which is for K5 to 2nd grade. Adventures in Creation is also very hands on.
