Mankato offers a wide variety of adventurous activities, and throughout our visit, we managed to fit in quite a few! We spent our days biking the trails, kayaking down the Blue Earth River, and watching bison at Minneopa State Park. But that’s not all! We also found time to explore Old Town, visit a winery and a brewery, learn about history at Blue Earth Historical Society, and eat at several wonderful restaurants. Our family moved to South Florida when I was 11 from a farm south of Mankato in '68 (near Vernon Center). I am now retired and looking forward to a road trip back to MN to look up old classmates.

That's at Devils Gulch off of the Blue Earth River. We were on a kayak tour with Bent River Outfitters and it was one of the stops we took when we were paddling!

Dang I didn't know you had Buffalo there. Now I can go buffalo hunting when I go up there. Is Buffalo season around the same time as Whitetail season?
