I was so moved to hear the rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone while watching the young faces of the band members pass and knowing how their world was getting ready to explode in war.
The transportation of the band members and instruments to so many venues must have been really expensive! Three directors, secretary, and librarian were also expenses. I wonder just how much came out of Captain Harper’s budget.
