I hope you find the advice here helpful! This video is definitely not exhaustive at all so questions & contributions are welcome. I’d love to hear what works for you!❤️
I'm currently here after recently just failing a test, I've felt so terrible for the past few days. Your video is comforting, its real and true, thank you so much for that. I'm already in medical school, and i don't think it's for me. I feel like when we're young and smart, we feel like medicine is the course for us, and lock our minds to that thought. But we get into it and realise that, it may not be for us. If you're in this category, i pray that we find our direction in God and find what truly makes us happy
When i get admission into mbbs I will come back here I'm crying already I don't know why 🤧 I feel like I'm venturing into what eill finish me but i keep hearing that inner voice saying GO BOY 🤧
About to write first mb I had to come back here because I don’t know how first semester exams are going but I’ll pass mb came back because listening to you has lifted my spirit not to give up
I felt it deep in my soul when you began *when my back was against the wall🎶🎵* I can't explain how I just passed my 1st MB God was merciful. Every single time I remember I get down on my knees in Thanksgiving!
I'm glad you gave the disclaimer from the get go. Don't study medicine. But they won't listen. Also growing and having an identity aside from medicine. It's one thing that has kept me sane. Your mental and emotional health will be shaken and tested. You can even get numb at a point.
I’m a 5th Year medical student . I love you already. All my path and Pham textbooks 📚 were ebooks 😂 gosh I saved Lot’s of Money 💰 Basically I couldn’t Keep a relationship even till now I feel like I can’t deal with women and medicine 😅 they are both difficult
This was so helpful. Thank you, Daniella. I've known you since Topfaith and I'm so glad that you're blooming in this way. I was your junior, lol. Well-done!✨ 100k soon, Amen.
Oh my God!!!!...I just found your page.thank you. MCB 1st test results came out and I was down cause I've failed Pathology already and it feels like, this is it. This encouraged me

Back 1yr later, now in path and pharm class and this video is a great inspiration to scale through my current academic situation. I now fully understand all you meant in the video. I will keep going, keep praying, Never give up and keep believing in myself by God's grace. Thanks once for the amazing words of encouragement in this video, I really appreciate
Your feelings are 100% valid. I promise you it’s not the end of the road, try to see areas of improvement and work harder & smarter on the resit so you can make yourself proud. Best wishes!❤️

at the end of the day it comes down to doing what works for you. Just sharing advice based on MY own personal experience and what has seen me through to my final year of medical school. Cheers!
It’s a whole process but to summarize it involves a lot of planning and discipline to actually do the things you planned at the time you planned to do them (time management) as well as the grace of God
what if u actually want to study medicine and you feel like your not smart enough to carry the course and then you remember in secondary it was like that for u but you still got the course medicine what do i do
Feeling like you’re not smart enough to study medicine is only a limiting belief that you’ve adopted for reasons best known to you. You’re capable of whatever you put your mind to especially if it is what you really desire. You have all it takes please go for it!
I'm an aspirant planning to study Medicine. please I want to know if studying Medicine in private university would be much better than studying in public uni. If yes? What could be the benefits of studying it in private unis... especially regards to stress and mental health 🙂. Pls reply.
Lmao study in a private university if you can afford it please. I don’t have the time to list out the benefits (I’m preparing for my MB) so you’ll just have to take my word for it
definitely prayer and trusting God to see me through. i don’t think the anxiety can 100% leave but you just have to discipline yourself to be calm so you can think clearly. Best wishes!❤️
@@daniellantuen I hope so too 😁! It's unfortunate that medical students don't qualify for scholarships even if they meet the requirements, but she's really excited about going to Nile. It's her favorite option so far. So we'll see! I hope you don't mind us contacting you if we have questions in the future. All the best in your program. I'm sure your mama is super proud of you! ❤️❤️
