Another tip I have for newer player is wearing the appropriate clothing and staying hydrated. I seen people wearing sweaters and hoodies in a 100 degree weather while not drinking enough water.

What should I wear instead of a hoodie for upper body protective? I just started and fell in love with it today and it did get quite toasty but I don’t want bruises like the ones I got on my legs even though it doesn’t hurt

My biggest advice for new players is one i see vets forgetting a lot, especially out by me.... BRING LOTS OF WATER. Seriously people 90 degrees in summer you NEED to hydrate.

One other piece of advice is don’t be afraid of the bbs. I tried to keep this in mind as much as possible while playing (which eventually lead me to adopt a Speedsoft style of play), and even if you don’t want to be Speedsoft, i’ve seen many players at my field turtle in the back of the map. I feel bad because I know this ruins the experience. I was a little scared my first time, and after all the games were over, I was always regretful that I wasn’t more aggressive because there were so many cool opportunities that I could’ve had if I was more aggressive. Even milsimers who are very aggressive are EXTREMELY successful. So remember that aggressiveness leads to success in Airsoft.

I know it's late but sometimes the turtling is also caused by awful and boring respawn rules. Where I play it's either being medic'd or a 5 minute bleedout (that's a good system) but then they introduced a front line rule where people hit within 100m of a friendly or like 20m of an enemy has to stand there until either no one is around or they get revived which means no one actually wants to move forward because you get hit and then no one comes to get you and your stood there for half an hour for no reason. I also play at a cab site which is an old college building and no one is aggressive because you will get hit (tight linear corridors and whatnot) but after being hit instead of the normal CQB 100ft respawn deal you have to walk (in about half of the games) down 3 flights of stairs and a totall of 450m to get back to where you died which takes like 2 minutes and is extremely tiring given the stairs and long distance so you get stalemates where no one pushes because even if it is a successful push at least 5 people are gonna face a stupidly long and exhausting walk for no reason. That's what I tend to find causes it quite often.

From experience, one bit of advice i can give is when getting your first gun, aim to get something a bit shorter and lighter and work your way up if you want. Starting with something long and/or heavy will cause issues and may make you hate your gun. Take it from someone who started with an LMG. over 5 Kg and 900 mm of fun mixed in with physical pain and frustration (its a love/hate relationship). Something like the ARP9 or the Firehawk would have been better to start with because they are short enough to do CQB and light enough to duel wield.

As a fellow experienced player of 5 years in December, you pretty much nailed everything in this video. only small, but important things I have to add is bringing food and water to stay nourished and hydrated, and to bring extra money for whatever you might need at the field. You never know when you'll need them extra $$

Ok one thing I will add a dye mask is still 140$ so i do not recommend buying it for your first mask And research is honestly great. I do soooo much research before I buy even the smallest parts. And a recommendation from someone who owns the guns and bought it with there own money is always great.

TheGuardianWolf Echo I would almost disagree the first thing item of eyepro that i bought was a dye i4. And I haven’t regretted it. I’ve upgraded almost every part of my gun/kit but never needed to upgrade my kit. Especially if you’re younger. I’m 15 now and I started playing 1 year ago, I needed a mask almost everywhere I went, and still do. Of course it is very expensive as you’ve pointed out.

for CQB, a V force profiler, V force Grill, or Virtue VIO Ascend will be fine for a cheaper price. For outdoor, the i4 is almost a must (in terms of full face pro) for that dual-pane lens and cheek weld

I will never forget when a friend that had no idea about the basic rules had to play in the enemy team . I have a sniper and he had an ar so I would just ambush him I thought aaaand no. He somehow got behind me and I hear him last moments (he was like 3 meters away) I turned around and I got full autoed in the neck and face . I didn't had something to protect my neck and I can say that over 10 bbs got stuck in my skin.
@46Koi
@46Koi 4 года назад
Tip: Communication is key. Airsoft tends to be a team oriented game and I see this a lot where a team creates and holds a line but due to lack of communication it turns into that team turtling. Communicate with your teammates (spotting enemies, objective updates and team movements) rather than just trying to solo run everything. It will greatly increase your odds of success and in my opinion increase the enjoyment of airsoft. I'm not saying you need to be those guys who bring comms and radios to every match but talk with those around you to assess situations and plan your next move.

I would highly recommend a dye i4. Admittedly it’s a expensive, BUT it is the only part of my gear that I haven’t upgraded. It has never failed me, never fogged, and never inhibits my ability to have a great day of Airsoft. In addition if you’re under 16 it’s also a great choice because almost every field that I have played at or researched requires full face pro for someone under 16. I have played with a cheaper mask before and it was miserable and completely inhibited my ability to enjoy myself. Hope this recommendation helps!

tip: dont be scared of the bbs, move watch, bb warrior and deemo or NOVRITCH for milsimers, spend money on googles dyei5 or I4 or another non fogable mask, spend on triggers like air tube and pistons (after experiance), drink monster or rock star wear a cap/beanie, wear nice tennishoes for speedsoft or indoor boots for milsim (my opinion) dont spend cHEAP ON MASK, wear dye armpads or dye kneepads. buy EMP mags, GET A FRIKEN TRACER IN INDOORS, call YOUR HITS. AND THATS IT FOR MY 4 PAGE ESSAY.

Good video, Just wanna add. Been playing snipers and semi DMR and CQB as my main kits. Im 100% with you. Sniper is not a beginner gun. It looks cool and some players are really good at it. But its not a fun first setup. You need to have a special playstyle and its not always as fun as you think. First gun you should focus on reliability and accuracy. If you wanna go with inexpensive gear, focus your money on the rifle and get some really inexpensive vest with pouches for the mags. Its more fun to play with a $400 rifle and a 50$ setup then a $200 rifle and a $250 setup. Even getting a rifle with no vest and a highcap is better, just make sure hi-cap is allowed at your field.

Hey bb warrior I was wondering is the elite force glock 17 a good starter airsoft pistol, I was going to get the eliteforce 1911 tac gen 3 but then I saw elite force had a glock to. What do you think?
@TheBBWarrior
@TheBBWarrior 6 лет назад
It's somewhat hard to say; both have some advantages over the other. I own the G19, and I do like it; you can use other brand magazines (I like WE tech mags personally) which is a plus. The 1911 TAC is about $50 cheaper though, and with that money you could get 2 more mags and CO2 for the same price as the EF Glocks. The downside though, is that the 1911 tac has a capacity of 14 BBs I believe. With the Glocks, some of the price comes soley from having the Glock name on it, especially with the $40+ magazines. The two pistols have pretty similar performance though and CO2 is nice in the winter

Always start with an aeg. Pistols are gas guns and if its a gbb, mags are expensive. Some revolvers need shell casings but not all of then like the h8r but you only have 10 shots while everyone else has 30-600 per mag. If you count drums, 1000+. Snipers are aost never good out of the box. Its also a playstyle thevrequires a lot of experience and all the sniper videos are edited all to hell with $350-$1000 guns that have been extremely upgraded. Hpa is $500 plus a $150 hpa rig. For gear, you just need somthing that gives you instant acess to your mags and some boots so you dont roll your ankle. The real thing you need to worry about is eye protection. Make sure it wont fog.

Just buy a gun and face protection. The hi cap should be plenty of ammo for a game. Especially if you cant use full auto. As for carrying extra stuff, just use your old backpack from school if you still have it or buy a cheap one. I carry extra bb's extra batteries, tools, and a first aid kit. Sometimes your gun may go down and you have ti remedy the issue which os why i have tools. I only do basic field strips but of its the gearbox then your gane turns into a trip back home or to your nearest tech. Also id you start running hpa, youb dont want you need a backpack for the air tank. Its an option if your gas gun only runs on green gas.

Can you talk a bit about whether it's possible to upgrade range without exceeding a joule/FPS limit? I would like to SOME DAY graduate to sniping, but I can't stand bolt action rifles, so I'd want a semi auto sniper rifle. In my country however, those aren't counted as anything seperate from a standard rifle, so I will have to work with limits JUUUST under 500 FPS., or 410ish if I want a sniper rifle that can go full auto aswell, like a VSS or something..
