Alhamdulillah, I have been privileged to have been a teacher for more than 55 years of my life and thousands of young people have allowed me the honor to help them and to guide them. In all of those years,I have opened my mind to learning about my profession because I realized that the more you know, the more you realize how much more there is to learn. Even now, after retirement, I am reading Imam Gazzali’s work on “ The Alchemy of Happinesses”. Learning is so good for the soul . Thank you Sheikh Hamza, you give me hope.

Dear sheikh Hamza Yusuf, i have a great respect for ur knowledge and i watch all ur videosand i watch them again because they are enrching . i used to consider the shias as my brothers in islam when i knew nothing about their 3aqeeda, except that there was a difference of belief as to whom the khilafa was due. UNFORTUNATELY THE DIVISION OF SHIISM AND ISLAM IS FAR MUCH BIGGER. I watched sheikh Abdulrahman dimashqiah (phd in shiism) and there i understood this 3aqeeda. This sheikh quotes only from their own sources, ussul al kafi, alnawabakhti, almajlissi, altussi .... an objective study. i strongly recommend to all mulims to watch him on utube and i am sure, the sincere shias who love Allah and islam will become muslim. dear sheikh Yusuf, what do u think of a man who will tell u that 1/ he believes that the Quran is muharraf (altered), it lacks 1200 pages 2/ that all the noble Sahaba (ra) has apostated and started drinking wine after the death of our messenger (as) , except 7 3/ that Mother Aicha (ra) has committed zinna (astaghfiru Allah!) although she has beencleared out from the seventh sky by Allah Himself in His Book 4/That haj in kerbala is a million times better than haj in Mecca 5/ that the 1st thing al mahdi al muntadar will do when he will arrives is to get Aicha (ra) and her noble father (ra) from the graves and to crucify them. 6/that the imam al mahdi will rule with David's law . (so, exit the Quranic Law AND EXIT OUR MESSENGER MOHAMMAD (as) so , my question is "can we consider a muslim someone who does not believe in the purity of the Quran when Allah Himself declared in His Book that HE WILL THE GUARDIAN OF HIS BOOK? "CAN WE CONSIDER A MUSLIM SOMEONE WHO SAYS THAT Aicha (ra) (i am sorry, i am going to shock many people but i have to witness what i heard from an iranian" imam" in a video in a "mosque" "he treated her as a "qahba" , wal3iyada billah Wallahi, inever heard a christian or a jew say such a thing. my question for u, my dear sheikh is " can we stay forever without reacting when our religion and our dearest symbols i are insulted

the sheikh talked about the great scholar "ibn 'abd albar " he said that he was an "athari " scholar not like those who claim to be it in our time , we see that there is some hostility towards the "salafi" who are more closer to the 'aqidah and madhab of The sheikh than shi'a , and how can he considered them as our brothers and all the scholar of the madhaheb, even the four imams they consider shiaa as a deviant sect if not kuffar , so the sheikh is going against the scholars and against what he said majority of the ummah.
"stick to the majority" & then the rightful Shaykh says "the Shia are our brothers in the religion"??? The Shia are about 15% of the Muslim world. The Shaykh should be careful in his advice he's a pious Sunni Maliki Scholar, the Shia's aqeeda is very blasphemous accusing Sayyidah Aisha, Jibraeel, all the Muhajireen & Ansaar Sahaba except 6, 3 out 4 daughters of the Prophet SallAllahualaihiwasallam, tabdeel in the Azaan, 2 fake Surahs Wilayah & Noorayn, Hazrat Muawiyah & finally Maula Qainat Hazrat Ali saying they did Taqiyyah (lied to hide their faith) in Great Years of Khilafat. My advice is stop trying to please everyone & not to give support to those who have differed in Aqaaid to our Sahaba, Ahle Bayt & Auliya. Its better to stay silent than giving oxygen to enclosed flames otherwise the Prophet will not be happy with you.
Compared to conflicts with atheists, other religion followers, these conflicts are trivial in day to day lives of muslims unless used for political gains. Its like conflict within the family vs conflict with a person who still hates you without knowing any of it, and also doesn't even want to know it.
