Presenters: Dr. Folusho Ogunfiditimi, DM, MPH, PA-C, DFAAPA & Dr. Robert Smith, DHSc, PA-C, DFAAPA
Folusho is a PA with 22 years of administrative and clinical experience in Healthcare Administration and Urology. Folusho is the Administrator of Practice Management for Florida Health Care Plans. He graduated from Howard University, obtained an MPH from the Medical College of Ohio, and earned a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership. His experience spans both inpatient hospital administration to outpatient clinical practice management while providing senior leadership oversight to PAs, NPs, and Physicians. Folusho has served on multiple AAPA committees and is the current chief delegate of the African Heritage PA Caucus in the AAPA House of Delegates (HOD). He is adjunct faculty at Butler University’s Doctor of Medical Science program, and he is well published in national peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Robert Smith, PA-C, works in Family Practice at Clinicas Mi Doctor in Irving TX. He is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He completed his undergraduate degree in science at the University of the State of New York (Excelsior College). He attended PA School at the University of California, Davis FNP/PA program. He completed a Master of Science, at Arizona School of Health Sciences, his Doctor of Health Science, in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, and completed a Graduate Certificate in Education from A.T. Still University Health Sciences. Dr. Smith is certified in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by Cornell University. Dr. Smith is involved with numerous professional organizations as a fellow or in a leadership role. He is published and is an invited speaker at local, regional, and national conferences. He is a Clinical Instructor for the University of North Texas PA program and the University of Texas, Arlington FNP program.
