Professionals use their prefix title after registering in the professionals' council. medical graduates should register in the Medical council and Engineering graduates should register in the Engineering council. In Chennai High court the advocate are charging from Rs. 30000 to Rs. 50,000 for getting a stay or injunction. Even this amount is received as cash only. They are not paying IT for that. Also some advocate are charging in percentage of the compensation/relief from penalty/ recovery of legal dues etc. at the rates ranging from 25%to 50%.
