1. Hygiene is lacking 2. Method is unsafe. Safe methods are either using a piercing gun, steriliZed as much as possible, and putting a pre sterilized stud in the gun. It is best if the earrings are in encapsulated disposable cartridges. Or arguably the best method is 100% sterile, that is taking an IV needle, sharp as you can get, and piercing the earlobe with that.then inserting a sterilized earring in the hole. Even for gun piercings, the tip needs to be pointy and sharp, a regular earring causes too much damage. Noce ceremony through.
@@helenahuang5286 yeah, nice ceremony where they shaved the baby bald and crammed earrings into her ears 🤦🏼♀️. And a piercing gun is absolutely NOT the best method to use. It causes more damage to the tissues in the ear. It’s best to pierce with a needle, not an IV needle though. You pierce with a hollow piercing needle where the earring fits into the back of the needle so that as the needle goes through, so does the earring. The needle is much sharper then a piercing stud and is lubricated so that it goes through much easier. A piercing gun is impossible to completely sterilize.
@@lindsaywhitley8812 well I already got my ears pierced 13 years ago with Blomdahl medical piercing studs . Throughout the 13 years I unfortunately developed a metal allergy to the point that even titanium doesn’t work . I tried titanium and still react to it . The only studs that work for me are from Blomdahl. I have also tried the cheaper plastic studs and I still react to these . That being said even if Blomdahl the Swedish company doesn’t have a good piercing system , I am still thankful for their studs as the only thing I can tolerate . I guess my only way to handle a needle piercing is for them to put in an earring that matches the metal used to make the needles . I noticed that I never react to the needles used for blood tests so that’s the only metal that could possibly work . These ceremonies are just torture and no fun for the kid involved . What’s supposed to be a happy event ended up being traumatic and that’s not right .
