Don't be confused about the title of this video. Adya is definitely not telling you to always be chasing something. He's saying that's what we do when we're controlled by the ego.
"Only then are we getting down to what you are rather than what you're experiencing." Damn that hit deep! Thank you Adyashanti, and thank you to whoever put this video up!
❤ fabulous talk. Adyashanti, I’m so grateful you’ve reappeared in my consciousness at this time. I was more prepared to hear the message as some of what was blocking me has been removed. Gratitude 🙏
@@TikuVsTaku No one is talking or listening , talking and listening are just happening .There's no need for a self in order to talk or listen ,that's the cosmic joke .
Hope was never needed in the first place. Hope is only created to get some place. We are inherently safe. What are we fundamentally, anyway? Beyond description, beyond the face.
just a thought... The relationship between the virtue of true self and the conditional nature of doing the right thing reminds me of Galatians 5:18,."When you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law." just a thought... 🙏
That’s pretty good! Was just listening a Buddhist monk explaining some of the teachings in the Bible, interesting stuff. My friend’s father was a priest, so I was involved in the church’s activities quite a bit when I was a youngster, but since none of the people could really explain what was said in the Bible (and some of them were super allergic towards any criticism or critical questions), I never became religious myself. ✌️
