My buddy Lasse has done it! He bridged C4D and AE in a way that is both flexible and user-friendly. I do not get a commission for saying that, I'm just a fan. No more messing with the compositing tab in the Render Settings. Just send data direct with his plugin. Take a look and see how useful it can be.
