Great build, the only suggestion I would make for safety reasons is add a taxi bar between the roll cage just behind the seats, just the window height, this is for two reasons, 1. if you get hit from behind the seats wont crash backwards if the brackets break , 2. attach your seat belts to this bar as in a crash the shorter the straps the less they stretch. Just a thought, once again very nice build. Cheers
This is insane, you took the entire thing apart bits by bits and still cleaned it up so good and able to put it back together like new. That's impressive.
I wanna give you a big hug bro! Well done on making the Toyota great again. I am planning to restore a 1985 Toyota Corolla rwd sedan. This video gives me a big picture on what to work on next.
Thanks :-) I got a MX5 too, se my new video :-) I had a plan to fit a set of Weber carbs, but now I have to sell the car. I imagine yours sound really great. Do you have a 1,6 or 1,8? and wich manifold and itb's are you using?
My MX5 is a 1.8, the manifold is from Jackson Racing, the exhaust system comes from Moss (Cobalt) the ITB's 45mm are from Jenvey, the camshafts are from CatCam
Wow, A white 86 track car that's NOT being made into a shoddy Initial D replica. You deserved the like just for that. :). Great work there too. Looks stunning.
Wanna what one thing is that I miss from old toyota? Blue interiors. They look really nice. Not quite black. But not a bright blue either. The navy is just perfect
What a fucking build holy shit I have a sr5 hatch I daily here in Hawaii with way more rust then that and I could only imagine what the body restoration was like respect ur 86 is as dream and alll in that little shed soo kool Dreams.
All the Danish carsare rustbuckets, so thats why I bought a import. We have the highest humidity in the world and they spray salt on the roads every winter. Still we got some of the oldest cars, because we have the most expensive cars in the world, exept for Cuba :-(
