Aea keeps ALMOST making a gun that I would buy. Like they're dancing around it. Why won't they make a semiauto 357 that isn't way too long? If their carbine was 357, it would be gtg. If this pistol was semiauto, it would be gtg. If the freaking Terminator wasn't a mile long, it would be gtg. Jesus Christ.
did i get this right ? you went down to 770fps after 8 shots with the 3600psi fill. And with the 4400psi fill it took about 11-12 shots to go down to 770fps. So from 4400psi to 3600psi you only get 3-4 shots. And from 3600psi to about 3000psi(~200bar) you get 8 shots. Thats alot of air for 3-4 shots
That's a nice-looking tactical air rifle. Thanks for sharing it with us, boss. With the lighter pellet, I think it would have a more consistent shot spread and not drop off as quickly. You can definitely shoot 100lb to 150lb wild hogs with that air gun.
@@dangerous8333 the bulldog was going to be my first pcp purchase but the price was crazy that's why when I came across this pistol for the price you can't go wrong plus it's got some power infact it's trailing right under the bulldog in power. Distance on the other hand bulldog is on top.
My AEA challenger exploded sending pieces into my face cutting me good. I unscrewed the barrel and seen o ring out of place. Don’t buy from Zachery! He won’t respond to anything for days. I’ll pay to have it fixed. Help someone!
I've got to hand it to AEA for giving the people what they want looks wise, unlike all the other companies, except Edgun. I still prefer my american-made Benjamin Bulldog but this is another cool gun from AEA. My Bulldog is completely customized though. Shortened, bigger tank with higher pressure, regulated, with a wood stock, puts out almost 290 fpe. Doesn't look anything like the original. I still hate where the cocking lever is though. Trying to design a modification for that. Compared to a stock Bulldog this LOOKS way cooler that's for sure. I think a bullpup is the best design for a 357 though, until they make air rifles more powerful while utilizing shorter barrels. Since big bore short barrel rifles are mainly for self-defense in my opinion. If I didn't have a 357 right now with the ability to modify my guns, I would probably buy this. I have my Bulldog set up for self-defense so this would be on par with that. If I were getting a 357 to hunt though, Bullpup would be the way to go. Of course they could offer a longer barrel for this but that would be a looooong rifle with a moderator on it. I hate long rifles!
Hi you now if any way to get little longer barrel shroud tube for his one because after new upgrade external regulator tank is bigger that barrel so little longer barrel cover ill fix
Large caliber, large air tank, 13” barrel. Overall length only 20”, 8 round magazines. Capable of 150FPE… um yeah lol its a game changer :) At least I think so :)
I received my pistol today and I was blown away what I was looking at even the ammo was insanely something to look at this is also my first pcp its a day and night difference from a break barrel. I live in hawaii and the biggest pcp air guns they carry in stores out here is 30 cal when I showed friends and family my AEA 357 MAX their jaw dropped and said that's more then an air gun that's a powder burners competition 😂😂😂👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I will definitely purchase more pcp air guns from AEA I will be a hard-core aea pcp customer thanks to Terry I am one satisfied customer ALOHA from HAWAII 🤙🏽🤙🏽.
Aea is really impressive, kinda feel bad for the oldies companies. This lineup keeps getting better, fast. Good audio on this video, I'm glad you cleaned it up, I have trouble hearing to begin with. As much as I like the song you usually play at the end, I don't miss it. The volume levels are now well balanced, thanks Terry
They aren't impressive, it's just that all the other companies suck. All of them. Except Edgun. The older companies literally just put out what they want instead of listening to the people and making what the people want. AEA does that. AEA is about to have a pistol out that's actually worth a damn before anyone else and I'm not talking about the defender. This is the very reason Chinese companies take over. They actually make the things the people ask for and they make a lot of them. As much as I don't want to support this company, being Chinese, and I really don't want to own a Chinese rifle as I consider a rifle one of my most important tools, and with my important tools I never buy Chinese, it's getting harder and harder not to. I actually hope AEA wipes their butt with all the other companies. They deserve it for the garbage they've been putting out at the prices they're charging.
@@dangerous8333 I can dig what your saying, the avenger made this world affordable. Great tool. Aea made a simple functional lineup, providing power. Chinese people are cool, their government sucks. Hard working people. They don't just make crap, they make everything anyway. With war looming though, it would be nice to see more American manufacturing. That being said, this company lights a fire under the market, and hopefully competition drives the tech into our hands cheaper and better here out. I'm definitely buying an aea soon.
Anybody have any idea on what could make it shoot out all the air in 8 shots. Sounds like it's shooting in full auto on the first two shots. FYI the challenger magazines I ordered from you don't have the little magnet on the bottom like the magazines that came with my 357 hp maxx.
Are you sure there are two different hammer springs or do you just have washers behind the hammer spring? I would be very grateful if you could research this for me. With kind regards.
The action needs to be on the opposite, left hand side for self defense work. Shoot a Hatsan Jet to feel the difference. The left side lver jet will aimed fire almost as fast as a semi auto and is more reliable. If this or the HPSS where offered in left side lever 45, it would arguably be the best self defense airgun in the world
I was wondering if you could grab one of your 357 challenger adapters that you have in stock and test it on the new challenger big 9. Or Since you have both the new challenger and the old one in stock you could also compare the two end caps and see if they have the same threads, either way it would help me out so much, thanks so much for your time man 🙏
I have the big9 challenger .357 and ordered the .357 challenger adaptor from DonnyFL and it does not fit. The shroud is the same size as the HP series. My hp SS adaptor threads right into the big9 shroud. I contacted DonnyFL and had them custom make me an adaptor. A few of us have had this problem so maybe he will start making more of them
@@gregmcb5305 you’ll have to have it custom made, it’s $10 more. The HP SS adaptor isn’t big enough for a big bore silencer, it’s just big enough to thread into the shroud. Contact DonnyFL and let him know that. Give him my name, Scott Thomas, since he just made one for me this week
What I would like to see is this gun 357 but with a 16 inch barrel so you can get a little more speed and also switch it to a bottle install a huma that to about 220 bar then you would have a hunting machine
