Outstanding!! Thank you for posting this! Thank you for taking the time to explain EVERYTHING! You broke everything down into to understandable steps. I don't think you missed a single thing, seriously. Even the direction of the threads on the bolt. How easy that could have caused a problem. Explaining the spines on the punch pins, and which direction on how to strike to remove. Excellent sir, down right perfect. You have a subscriber in me. Thanks again.
GREAT VIDEO!!!. we need more breakdown videos like this. It is very helpful. But more often than not all we ever find on RU-vid is bias paid reviews on most things. That have very little information other that how far it will shoot lol. Good job keep up the good work
Thanks for sharing! I just had to make a new poppet for my HP carbine. I've been wanting to tear it down further and see how the gun functions. Thinking about trying to make one. Need to tear it down and see how the air feeds from the tank through the poppet to the barrel. On my carbine the poppet face next to the pin shaft had a 45* angle all the way down to the metal pin. Yours appeared very short, about 1/4 the length of my 45* face.
I am working for the next week so won't have a chance to do a video for a while, any moving part that is not part of the high pressure air I have been putting wd40 specialist on, it is a dry lube that has been working well. As for in areas that there is air I leave them dry and only oil orings. If you look at the aea mods video I have is show the parts that I oil. For the orings I use superglue oring lubricant, it is safe for use in hpa areas. Hopefully this will help you
Finally decided to tear mine down today. Can't find a video anywhere on the re-assembly. Unfortunately I unscrewed the plastic baffle from the long threaded rod, so I need to figure out the spacing on that for feeding issues. Having some difficulty figuring out how to put the barrel, spring, and long rod assembly back in as a unit? Maybe it goes in individually?
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dmZ4x1OYKt0.html this video might help you put the barrel back on. The plastic baffle you will screw down until the threads of the metal rod are just showing. Hopefully this will help
@@mtairgunner4044 Thanks for the reply. I finally got it put back together on the 3rd or 4th try. It was a puzzle getting the barrel, rod, spring, clip, nut, and retainer all put back in correct order. I screwed the rod in until it was about 2 threads short of flush on my .25 cal. Just did a function test, and it is cycling, feeding, great. Thanks again for the video and reply.
I have changed my valve pin like four time and Bin Tac sent me a better valve pin this time, but now when I changed it out my gun is leaking out where you put the fill probe in. I guess that I need to figure that out now. 😮💨
This brand seems to be a lot of work, but fun when it does work. If this valve pin doesn't hold up you could try ebay seller vstar1100pw. He makes a upgrade valve for these. As for fill leak it if I remember right it should just be an oring inside the the air cylinder piece that your fill probe goes into. Will need a Allen key to pull out the little screw. Sometimes you can also snug up that screw a little and will stop the leak also.
Hello. Help me understand how the trigger mechanism works. As i understand, nothing holds the sear after the trigger is pulled and the gun is reloaded again after 1st shot, only the sear spring push it up, against the hammer? Is it reliable construction? If the spring will be too soft the gun wil perform full auto?
that last screw taken out was geting stuck on the aluminum channel that rides in ripping and gouging aluminum causing the the gun not to cycle than my triger was tering up the aluminum nook it rides in causing it to rock but not slip back to the sear causing it not to fire only shot 350 rounds and owened 2 months befor it quit .30 hp TD $900 I puled it a few days ago found those spots it was hanging up It works fine now but to get it cycling I loaded with a ton of heavy grease
Hey i wanted to ask, for the transfer port part, you unscrewed the bolt with the flathead screwdriver. I was wondering where can I buy that pin/nut/bolt or whatever the name is called?
You can order individual orings from the oringstore.com, harborfreight.com also has some big kits 1 in a blue box and 1 in a red box that I have had good luck with.
@TheFowlerAirgunChannel Yes, It sucks when having to work with small things but have always had it so am used to it. It can be better some days than others.
yoy saved me i had to get a stuck pellet under the bolt out and wasnt sure how to loosen the butt plate...these AEA guns suck, they break every 30-40 shots
