I got it! A business lounge with (at least for my taste) the best food offer! It's amazing what this business lounge offers in an airport, which at first sight doesn't promise much - but then this! I'm really surprised! The Aegean Business Lounge impressed me the most in 2022 and I want to visit it again. Take a look at what they've impressed me with. Then there's Aegean, which served food and dessert on a two-hour flight in economy class. So it is not true when they tell you that European airlines do not serve real food in economy class within Europe. #aviation #travel #greece #athens

Just keep in mind that this is the non-Schengen lounge for flights with Aegean outside of Schengen or for flights with Turkish Airlines that connect in Istanbul (for example).

Sad that travelers to Croatia won’t have access to this lounge from March 26. The intra Schengen one is so small and crowded. Also the seat selection is free for the flex fare which is around 15€ more expensive

True. Shouldn't it be from 1 January 2023 or not? You can still travel to Cyprus and have access to this lounge I think.

@@got2flyfarno, for air travel Croatia switches on 26/3. 1/1 was for road, rail, and water entry. And yes Cyprus isn’t in Schengen so you go to that lounge

Aegean doesn't charge for window seats, only for emergency exit and upfront. And generally selection is free during check-in. So there was definitely a way you could have gotten a window had one seat by it been free. Also usually they have Aegean Stream which is ife on your mobile device, or aegean wifi on some of their neos

That is not true in my case. There were window seats free, but offered to me only with a surcharge.

@@got2flyfar hmmm my bad, I forgot there is the light fare. I never use it for practicality reasons. :(
