a quick question, why did you have to take the bus to go to immigration instead of from the jet bridge ? Love Aegean

The jet bridge led to stairs and the bus. I don’t know why they chose this. Other than perhaps it saved a long walk?

@@PlanetPatrick The main terminal building is divided into a Schengen (B Gates) and a non-Schengen area (A Gates). The plane parked at a B gate probably for its next flight, so you took the bus to go the non-Schengen area to go through immigration

European business class is not like north American business class but I guess that kind of makes sense because of the closer distances, not sure. I only use European business class to transport me to my international hub for travel across the Atlantic (if I book business for the longer leg I seem to be bumped up to business for the shorter European leg). But the package is certainly not proper business class from the north American perspective but it is the package most European airlines seem to offer (KLM ,Lufthansa and Aegean), although Turkish Airlines seems to be one of the exceptions when travelling from North America to Istanbul then to Athens.
