@@StarrySoakedSkiess I’ve been following Ewan since 2018 pretty much knowing about him. He’s not on social media due to the fact how shy he truly is and because he tries to be private. But with people like this? It makes me more glad that he isn’t bc he doesn’t deserve shit about his appearance when he’s attractive
I think we so often forget that this is a DISABLED man, who was disabled at a pivotal age. You can see how that fact festered and developed over the years...first he is on a high from getting a dragon out of it, but he then feels that it is not enough and wants an eye for an eye. He (and probably everyone else) sees it as a weakness just like not having a dragon was a weakness. He is traumatised and will keep going in circles trying to heal his ableism..first a dragon, then an eye, what's next? Aemond is the most complex, well written character I've ever known.
he went from being beloved Osferth to being a giant @%^# head. xD Didn't even recognise him until this last episode tbh. incredible actor, can play either side of a coin.
Brilliant video, Aemond was easily one of my favourite characters this season, despite having such a beastly appearance, the season finale proved he's still just a traumatized child trying to cope. Like Vieserys said, "The idea we control the dragons is an illusion."
You dont have to be a traumatized child trying to cope to be terrified over the fact that you might have just started a war. He certainly was scarred by his past (pun intended) but he really strikes me as someone who rose above it.
This show is a bit underrated, especially when you look at characters and actors like him. I loved the devious vibe of him, and I loved even more when he realized at the end how much he fucked up. I hope this actor has a great future in the industry.
@@MrSkme its underrated cuz it isn't as mainstreamly fed down our throats like stranger things, euphoria or game of thrones when it was in its prime, yes people watch house of the dragon but it doesn't get as much attention from fans as other popular shows. the people making edits and talking about hotd theories are a niche sub group.
Aemond presence is menacing. I had wished he was anointed the King. Wise, tough, skilled, emotionally charged to defend his handicap. He will meet his demise to soon. Imagine Aemond in his prime 25 to 32yrs vs Daemon.. mirror
Oh man, I definitely chose the right night to check on the videos I hadn't seen, a few minutes after watching your recent ones, you upload this and what can I say except that it's a great surprise! His character grew on me with the episodes, I already love him and this video is once again perfect!
@@JesseJr19 yeah u goated bro keep it up. If u don't mind me asking how old are u and what do u do cause these videos probably take a lot of time to make
Really excited to see where the future seasons take him! I was very skeptical and unsure about the change in his nature, but considering how well written this season has been it fit well. Especially surrounding the problem of controlling the dragons completely.
Bravo!! Exceptionally good. I love all the clips of young Aemond you've included. That young actor deserves to be praised as much for his performance as does Ewan Mitchell. They've both helped to breathe life into that character. And this video is a wonderful way of showing Aemond’s journey so far. Well done!!
This is, by a mile, the greatest video about Ameond yet. You captured the essence perfectly: the bullying, revenge and tragedy of his kinslaying. Kuddos bro, keep it up and keep capturing ths spirit and tone of each character!
That scene with the dragons going through the rainstorm, and what happened after....holy crap that was intense! I don't live ever ever in my eyes and felt so much anxiety because of a TV show before 😳😰😰😲
People comparing Aemond and daemon Like daemons who never betrayed viscerys for throne eventhough he wanted it Aemond too was a king for short time while his brother was recovering he ruled as a good king and then gave his brother the throne and visited him everyday while aegon was recovering So don't compare like idiots and enjoy the character
my favourite character from the show besides with daemon, great tribute, do a Criston cole tribute too if you can, Criston's arc was crazy throughout the season
Can I use your video for my voiceover video, I explain movie theories on my channel, it needs movie edits so can i use yours, I'll give mention you too. So please reply 🥺
All I'm saying is that the Battle Above the God's Eye better be on screen. I really hope it's not some disappointing bullshit like the Battle of the Green Fork or the Battle of the Whispering Wood was in the original series.
I DONT CARE WHAT HE DOES BECAUSE I FELL INLOVE WITH THAT KINSLAYER, SINCE OCTOBER THAT I HAVE THIS FEELING , BUT IF ITS REALLY LOVE AND NOT ONLY LUST: TIME WILL TELL
I mean, I love Aemond as an antagonistic character. he has a decently flashed out backstory. that's no small achievement when you consider how the source material was written. (heck, George, stop procrastinating, you are sitting on a goldmine of potential in the size of a planet, any other author would kill for it) But why, oh why, did they push the sword fighter angle so hard? I challenge you to cover one eye and try living your daily life for an hour. the amount of spacial awareness you lose and can't regain is amazing. just stick to the back-stabbing, manipulative character riding the biggest dragon alive. heck, make a big deal of how Vhagar makes him overcome his disability in the sky...
