Would agree with Nathanael, hopefully they'll reopen, even if it's just with the Pacer as far as they can go down the line. The connection with GCR Loughborough still seems to be a million miles away even with the bridgeworks by Brush.

Makes you wonder if any of the locos currently at Ruddington will end up going the same way as 56097, evicted from the railway as "surplus to requirements" and now permanently lost to preservation

Ah finally they have had a good clear out , the steamer that was in the station that's gone, ah the pacer and HST are still there. Wonder if they'll reopen this year

Love that you’re doing heritage lines as well, maybe do East lancs next? Or great central. So weird seeing it so quiet. Any ideas when they reopen?

We hope to start running trains again this year.

They have no intention of running again until the bridge the gap project is completed,that way they can hand over all the knackered track and sleepers to the joint running company.
