It took me about 15 Odins to see one Gilgamesh and you don't wanna know how many Bahamuts. I've accomplished my short term goal. I'm done grinding Aerith for now.
That pause where you were (presumably) considering resetting at around 40 seconds was such a mood. With how much trouble this and Bonds of Friendship gave me the very prospect of soloing these challenges makes my head spin. At this point I think Bahamut is low key the hardest of the summons to fight besides Gilgamesh...
I literally thought I was dead hahaha, I reset before it fades out otherwise you gotta wait for the screen fade to try again. I was super surprised I wasn't dead, survived with 14 health and no repreive. (I should have died, but the phoenix healed me with a fire attack while I was on the ground) This kinda bully nonsense happens a lot in my grind. If I was a video editor I'd make a compilation, I have gone from full health+repreive to dead in 5 seconds from missing one parry so many times
Thanks for the input, I spent an hour maxing out some unused materia including MP absorb, I'm replacing Time and Subversion with MP absorb and barrier. I'll see how it feels and post something new
It's insane im only on chapter 8 and theres already people out here doing this kind of stuff😅 Nice video man 6:09 so is that a "parry/perfectly timed block?" I'm still not sure how the counter/parry system works yet lol😭
Yeah, almost everything can be parried, and you make the timing window bigger by using precision defense focus materia, so I keep one on every character permanently

Did you change your capture's rgb range setting to Full since previous videos? This one is incredibly washed out and there's probably an rgb mismatch with your PS5's setting now. It was slightly black crushed before but this too white
I'm using a different PS5 and TV so possibly. I'll look into it, thank you! These files are saved onto my PS5 and directly uploaded from there, so tbh I don't understand why it would do that, any advice would be appreciated
Oh okay if there's no capture card you're using and its straight of the PS5 then maybe it's a mismatch between Limited/Full on the PS5's setting and the game itself? The RGB Color Range setting is at the bottom of the PS5's screen and video settings, the menu where you can change the resolution@@aethertruck
So, this is wild but maybe something on the YT player's side? I'm watching on Theatre Mode and if I scroll slightly down so that the entire player isn't on screen, the colors correct themselves a little. Going full screen fixes it as well.
@@ultimaweap12 I was experiencing your issue when I reviewed the video on my phone. HDR color options were automatic, but I forced it to full just in case. Any uploads until Friday will be on my original hardware so I'll get more data
I think it's very possible. Every move has an answer. I'm just not consistent enough, and I probably will never be. Gilgamesh gives a lot of openings. I had some here but I didn't wanna go into his phantasmal field to use my wards. His genji shield had like 1 HP left, after it breaks he will reel every time you parry him which gives a lot of openings. Sephiroth on the other hand...
I spent some time fighting the summons individually with Cait and I don't even think i'm going to make an attempt lol. He's somewhat RNG, and his moogle doesn't inherit elemental materia bonuses and probably others. I think a masterful player like eauvni could do it especially if they master his lucky slots, but it couldn't be me lol
@@aethertruck ur being too hard on uself, ur also a masterful player! yeah Cait Sith and Aerith seen impossible to solo, but u did get Aerith to Gilgamesh....which was impossible!
@@Charliestrife01 if you’re doing a boss gauntlet with solo Aerith like this you absolutely need soul drain. On an offensive spell. If he had mp absorb he would have had a better chance of clearing this.
