Am I the only one that laughed and waved back when he waved to us in the reflection of the dome? "oh, look, it's my reflection...if I'm in this, I might as well wave." lol Thanks for the video!
These seeds are germinating extremely quickly - consistent 4 day germination of all 8 seeds. That's far faster than in my proper heated propagator... and seeds on the windowsill usually take 2 weeks. So far, I'm impressed.
On the other hand, think about it, it might be better to place them upside down, poking a seed hole in this like this, for it would then better allow the roots to reach the water / nutrients from the other end, which is wide open. Sometimes roots have a hard time breaking through these net type Jiffy pots.
Nice and concise video. I'm new to all this stuff so it's nice to find out about products through something other than ads that are very obviously trying to sell me something.
thumbs up my friend. would be interested to know your final outcome. like size and quality of items grown. thanks very much for takeing the time to do video and will be looking for any follow ups. the best fella
Well, I'm convinced. Going to see how much they cost and may order a couple. Your video was concise and very instructive. Will also look for the follow-up. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing the experience with us and please attach clarify more about the type and strength and the way they work and , of course, the image of the pump
I really enjoyed your vid on aeroponics . It was thoughtful and very easy to follow. Can you show us an up date on how the cuttings and seeds survived? Did they prosper? and did you have problems transfering them to soilbased pots when they were big enough or did they continue in that protectve evirenment right up to fruiting stage?. The pots seem ideal for germination and cutting but too small for mature plants. Except perhaps for rare, difficult specimens. Please keep the vids coming. I would really like to know more of their progress,
Hi vince . Found it very interesting as never seen it in use be for. I'm old school when growing from seed with a none heated propagator against a radiator and get good results. I try and replicate the humidity and warmth of the tropics . I use the jiffy pellets as well but drowned in strong tea. The next thing I'm going to do is see how much one of these units are. Look forward to the next video.
You have done a very very good job Bro.. I loved it more because this was without music in the back-ground , the whole thing is good ..Cheers M8. You are a good bloke, why everybody don't want to be like you...
Hi Vince i have been thinking about a possible purchase as im mainly going to be using seeds, and this video has be a great help thanks for making it clear and understandable looking forward to your update .
Instead of paying through the nose for this system ($155) You could just an ultrasonic mister for $10, a few netpots, some clay growing media, and some hydropinic nutrients and still have enough money left over to buy an indoor grow light so you can have a complete setup for the same price if not less. All you need to be ready for is a little DIY. It's more rewarding if you make it yourself anyway.
But, in addition, this mister system also overflows into the upper grow chamber, which keeps the leaves humid and happy, as well; the more humidity, the better, I would think.
@@atomizer2665 All the people that do those claims "this/that would work better" never provided any proof. I've watched many videos on fogponics that shows incredible results compared to traditional hydroponics plus it is simpler and silent.
@@superresistant0 I and many others base our opinions on our own side by side testing. If i could get the same results with ultrasonic foggers why would i not be using them?
I have an ultrasonic fogger laying around somewhere, i`ll have to do a side by side with a glass of hard tapwater and see which shows roots first. I run 3 different kinds of aero, low pressure, high pressure and air atomising, so i`m no stranger to how aero works.
With one pump did you alternate buckets? Also, why not make holes in the sides of one bucket and either use rockwool or paper towels instead of those pellets; your result would be like 30 plants in one bucket - in theory anyway. Thanks for the show. ciao.
Hello Vince I have had some good results with inexpensive Ex cut flower water buckets planting and growing potatoes, carrots, leeks and beans etc in them. I grow these outdoors on my Patio. Is a Aero-Pot Aeroponics System suitable for using outdoors? I was thinking that rain could be an issue.
Hi there, awesome video and what a great idea to turn a small fog machine into an aeroponics system. My question is can this sustain fully growing plants? Or is just just for propagation and seed germination?
Within 4 days on the tomatoes... I'm doing an update video at some point with dates etc. I'm staggered by the results, I'll never take cuttings any other way again, ever.
WONDERFUL BROTHER, REALLY NICE, how do you call to the mist maker part, I would like to purchase only that and for a much bigger capacity, but I dont know nothing about that device, not even its name.
just wondering , but would like to know if mushrooms would do good in this , i would think so as what mushrooms need to grow and no light needed , sure there is some more be for you grow mushrooms , but looks good .
I have ??? as ViceVersa... If you had a lid with one Mesh pot a 6" can u use it to take the plant to Full Bloom and Fruit.??? Thanks BTW good explanation of the product Thanks
Yes you can any plant start to finish, and I do mean any plant BUT these burn out quickly well quicker when nutrients are in the water u see its silver it will turn the color of a penny n waste will appear just exchange water every week or have I call it a fogger..I will say this man I did this in a 30 gal tote one fogger same size but I never tried propagation with it..
Man, You REALLY MOVE QUICKLY !!! _(Astonishing.) Heh Heh.. That was a really informative upload. Great stuff. You really must tell us which brand of COFFEE you drink too.
i just put air stones (4) in a 7 gallon tote fill with water turn on air and let it grow change my water every 10 days i have very good luck with this roots always have water
When you change your water so much, don't you waste water and nutrients both .... or you just don't care? The big deal about hydroponics/aeroponics is that it is supposed to be more environmentally friendly ... and yet it also uses electricity, and can have a catastrophic failure rate if the pump dies. This seems like gee-wiz stuff designed to impress people with fog and lots of cool equipment, but does it work and do what it is supposed to do? Don't think do. Maybe for a few plants it's kind of fun, or if you are growing pot or something ... not for growing plants to eat.
well, the product you sponsored seems good, but the link to the ebay store does not seem to work, is there an updated one? I have tried a few searches without any luck
Much interested on the seed planting. Please, where and how to buy it, do they send abroad like Egypt, the whole set, to try using it, kindly I want to see your updates. Thank you, nice video.
Actually they wont. In a glass of water they root in 2-3 weeks. In soil they root in 2 weeks. In aeroponics 4 days. Also, in both soil and a glass of water the leaves start to die, but not in aeroponics.
Hello, the nutrients that have to be dissolved in the water are the same as for hydroponics ?, the same amount ?. Thank you. (I translate by google Spanish / English)
Dont you put anything in the water? I guess you boiled the water to purify it so you basically have H2O. Dont you need additional nutrients for the plants to grow? If yes, can somebody tell me what you need to put in there?
