Fun fact; Aero Precision is the OEM for many name brand uppers & lowers. I own several and they are high quality parts. Got a couple rifles with 10k rounds through them without any issues. Only routine maintenance like replacing worn out gas rings and cleaning. Outstanding products!

100%facts. Ever since I started using Aeros m4e1 uppers and lowers they are my favorite rifles. They are first ones I grab when heading to the range. My others have to have the dust wiped off them.lol. Great products

Have Aero lowers, uppers and bolt carriers. So far no problems. But I keep them well lubricated also.

AERO is always the way to go. Great quality and innovation for the price -- yet to be disappointed with their lowers/uppers/rails/bcgs and I like the modern takes they've done on M4E1 lowers for faster build/fit. Always a good idea to check their BLEM/SALE page ;)

I just bought a Tool Craft Nib from PSA and that thing was impeccable and perfect. When I pulled out of it's package it was so slick it slipped right through my hands , almost felt wet. I hat 2 other Nib carrier's and they are not even close to being as slick or equal in fit and finish as the Tool Craft.

From my research, the toolcraft BCG Nib is the same as Aeros BCG Nib (in 308/7.62 that is, assuming the same for 5.56/223) now it may be false info, but I've held them side by side and they were the same in every way that I could tell.

Ya I'm a toolcraft kind a guy. They come polished like a lantac and man its slick as heck and I own like 8 different brands of nib. But for price too hard to beat

According to the Armalite the carrier key bolts do not have to be staked. Instead they should be locked with permatex red thread locker. And the key should be sealed to the carrier using permatex aviation form a gasket. I have seen bolts properly stacked back out. What I have never seen is a bolt carrier and gas key done to armalite spec fail. And I have done a lot of carrier work. If the end user wants the carrier key staked I’ll happily do it along with the armalite specs. I enjoyed the new lighting and they close up stuff. I have been around long enough to remember those days. But maybe change the cloth on the table to something not so textured kinda distracting.

Aaaa Bbbb personally I do not mess with adjustable gas keys. In my opinion they are sub par and very tedious. When you can easily install an adjustable gas block.

I’m surprised more companies don’t offer chrome bolt carrier groups. The finish stays around much longer in my opinion.

My one and only build is An Areo build. Complete M4e1 upper with the quantum 15" handguard, and the nickle boron BCG. Strike industries enhanced lower parts kit with FCG. Strike charging handle. Magpul grip and stock. And a guiesslie super 42 branded buffer spring and buffer. Primary arms 1-6 raptor with a Atibal qd exstended mount. I wanted the Areo lightweight mouth but everywhere was sold out.

I have one of those bcg and it is very nice and functions flawlessly but after 400 plus rounds through it it will never look like that again. I guess after all the heat and carbon baking on it it changes color gets real dark looking. Just FYI. Keep up the great work!

Use chemical guys heavy metal polish. It will take all that shine back. Mine looks brand new every time I clean it.

I've run Aero Precision M4E1 and the M5E1 build for the last few yrs and have not had any issues. Quality parts at affordable prices!

TheMetalGuy852 I have to agree with you. I’ve heard a lot of complaints of BCM lately..did they get complacent due to their popularity? I hope AP does t go down that path because I personally feel all of their products are top notch, even better than BCM

@@carlosfernandez1 ok yeah save a couple more dollars and go aero precision. or you can go get an upper from ballistic advantage especially when they have a site wide sale and then purchase a lower separate from a ffl or off their site. theyre pretty much aero rifles. theyre sister companies.

I asked Aero Precision if there NIB BCG is HPT tested they said no. Just MPI.i have this BCG I personally dont have any complaints runs very well through my rifle.

Like I need another rifle.. HELL YEAH YOU DO!! It's a tool. And you can never have too many tools. I have a Colt and Bcm. Ever since I got my first Aero Precision m4e1 upper,lower and gen 2 mlok handguard that's the only builds I use now. Absolutely love Aero stuff. Beautiful rifles. I also prefer Fail Zero nib bcgs.

As always another great review. The new lighting looks nice however having the nickel boron bcg highlighted against the white background doesn’t let me see a lot of the details of the bcg. Personally I’d prefer to see light colored parts against a darker background and darker parts against a lighter background to,bring out more detail.

Aero precision doesn’t make bad shit. Their M4e1 is my preferred lower receiver and typically they go for 60$ or less on sales.

Come on man please stop bragging. These go for about $109.95 to $119.95 for us here in Cali. Plus the taxes and dros fees, we get em for about $200. (or we can buy one for $60 online, plus shipping, with a $75 transfer fee, plus $40 DROS fees plus 10% tax...) Dont you just love Demonrats pricing lower class people out of buying firearms. Not to mention Ammo! Plus the Ammo tax and background fees. Who wants to move here? Lol Aero Precision is my all time favorite AR related company. They have always treated me EXCELLENTLY!

The lighting is good. I'd play with some neutral color backgrounds to see what you prefer and which prevent blooming the best. 4:27-4:40 made X-ring cry a little when you used the firing pin to test the spring and take down the bolt.

Review was great. Lighting was as well. Maybe a dark colored towel would have made for better contrast. But it's all good on KB32 TACTICAL channel.

A warning: do not clean this BCG with an ultrasonic cleaner. I did and the bolt carrier turned a pink color. I contacted aero precision and was told that ultrasonic cleaning was not an approved method. I asked if they said it anywhere and again was told that they cant tell you everything you should not do, just use standard practice in cleaning but could not point to anything that was a standard practice of cleaning nickle boron BCGs. No warranty because of willful abuse of product.... that shed a lot of light on how a warranty issue would be handled. I also followed up with a letter and received no response.

Tips for better video: Set a custom white balance. Use a darker background - the auto exposure will darken your subject since the white background is so bright. Cheers-

I've been a subscriber of BDU for over a year now. I personally don't have seen issues with the monthly subscription for the discounted prices. I recently posted to Reddit thread AR15 thread a suggestion to BDU and posted a link, boy, was that the wrong thing to do. I was permanently banned, being my second infraction. First was posting a link to CMMG's 57 caliber change kit, which was shear excitement for a new offering in the caliber. The moderator was a total douche bag and we did not have kind words and he cowardly muted my comments. I know the firearm community can be treacherous on certain topics, but if I'm simply passing info on to the next man in Hope's of him saving cash, what's the harm. After researching, I found the rules stated basically no posting of links for third party sales. By no means am I a sensitive guy, but I truly despise "internet gangsters" who would think twice before mouthing off to a grown man face to face. Just my two cents, great video!!

I just received my PSA M4A1 stripped lower, can anyone please explain to me why the indexing slot for the end plate is round instead of oval shaped ? I've completed 9 builds and I've never seen this, it's not a big deal, there are plenty of end plates available with round indexing tabs but I have searched the interweb for hours and can't find any explanation. Curiosity is driving me crazy.

Howdy, i'm new to the AR world and in watching quite a few videos i recall hearing that the bolt retaining pin should always be inserted from the right side of the carrier... is this correct? I saw this one being installed on the left side....

What Kota did was correct. You push the pin through the retaining pin hole that has the cone shape. The pin won't go in fully if you insert it from the other side.

I have a Delton M4 that I built several yrs ago in 5.56 mm all basically milspec set up and has a 16 inch medium weight barrel with a 1 in 7 twist rate for heavier weight 5.56 bullets. I've run that carbine hard in training and so far it's still running after 5 yrs, no failures yet. It shoots 1.5 to 4 inch groups at 100 to 300 yrds, depending on ammo. I run 55 gr -77 gr bullets, I've never run any steel cases ammo in this carbine.

I believe it's actually the other way around bud. Aero makes many products for quite a few manufacturers. I also believe they now own ballistic advantage which make excellent barrels at a great price.

Negative, they do there own manufacturing inhouse. I've run there parts in my last few builds. Quality parts at affordable prices. I've ran them hard to see if they would stand up to the abuse and after 2 yrs, there still running with no issues to report.

My Aero 308 BCG Nib is the exact same as the toolcraft 308 BCG Nib. I've held them side by side and I'm 99.9% they are made at the same place.
